Ferret is at the top of his game when he posts cartoons. Its how he is able to comprehend issues best, since his lack of reading skill is well-documented.
This one is a classic though lorien, this is actually what your hero said. It was all we heard up until the invasion of Afghanistan. After that, nothing. The patsy served his purpose very well indeed wouldn't you say?
I think bin laden is higher on the illuminati chain of command, so bush would have gotten a red flag from the grand overlords had he caught bin laden, so he had to back down.
What? Admit it mate, your knight in shining armour lies a lot. Once he got into Afghanistan he didn't care a jot for Bin Laden, just like he makes jokes about WMD whilst thousands of soldiers are killed in that hellhole called Iraq. It's black & white mate, posting some gobbledegook will not change that either.
Every day is opposite day. It's really sad that parents don't spend enough time with their children when they are younger.
Have you thought very hard about the hunt for OBL, or do you just spout random crap that comes to your mind? If OBL was in pakistan, the US had no rights to go in there to get him. So what was to be done? If he was in Afghanistan, and you had no idea where he was, how many troops are you willing to commit to a single person? Is it worth it? Does killing or capturing bin laden suddenly make all terrorism go away? Not hardly. So, is your fault of bush truth based or simply to blame bush for something else? I'd say its probably the latter, given the deep thought you've put into so many of your other posts.
Yes I have, a shame your number #1 hero hasn't. "The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." Pakistan would have worked with the US to find him so your Pakistan quote is irrelevant. You cannot keep making up excuses to defend him mate. One month he's public enemy number one, a few months later he's not thinking that much about him. Here are a few quotes by the love of your life, spun to suit his agenda. http://www.buzzflash.com/contributors/2002/11/13_Laden.html
Pakistan doesn't really even have control of the region where OBL was supposed to be, an infact made it semi-autonomous a few years back.
While I agree w/ AGS that Bush pulled an unblievable about face with regard to comments about Osama bin Laden, one that is deeply misleading with regard to his other comments and especially actions about terrorism there is nothing to be done now....probably. If OBL is in Pakistan...cripes the Pakistani govt has pulled out of that part of the country. We would be lucky to find OBL at this point.
It's still the territory of Pakistan, assuming he's there. Pakistan is an "ally" right now. one of the few in that part of the world. They said US troops cannot cross into their territory. So we have to respect that, like it or not. Since OBL is more popular there than the pakistan government; the last thing that pakistan would want is a full blown war in its own borders. Even though making it semi-autonomous just enabled the Taliban (who seemed to have set up bases there now), they have to allow action there to get it cleaned up. Probably won't happen. Assuming he's alive. If he is, I doubt he's of much consequence, anyways. Killing OBL won't stop anything. AQ would function just as well without him.
yeah maybe now, getting him early would have been a major psychological and symbolic victory If they had gotten him, focused on hunting down the rest of Al Queda, and its funding, instead of invading Iraq and creating the biggest recruiting tool Al Queda could ever hope for, it would be much safer world for the record I totally disagree on the 911 conspiracy stuff, its good to be skeptical, and there are tons of crooked stuff goes on in the world But I think the attacks where pulled off by a small group of determined individuals, while Bush was sleeping on his watch, a small group with funding from probably a few key individuals, pulled of the grand slam of terrorist attacks.
Whats funny is that if Clinton had done his job, bin laden would have been captured and I believe 911 would have never happened...but then clinton is also a friend to the terrorists...
Well as he was created by the CIA it doesn't matter if he is dead or alive, he will be wheeled out with another dodgy video if needed. The only problem is that Bush and the crankies have possibly wheeled him out for a dodgy video too many times, hence I don't think we will be seeing any more of him. RIP Tim Osman, you served the CIA proud, thousands of innocent people have died but the US has a controlling part of Middle Eastern oil now. Even more when Iran hits the fan. God damn neocons.
If the US has a controlling part of the middle eastern oil, then why aren't we in the US paying .25$/gallon....oh thats right...all the money goes to cheney and bush...screw the americans. your theory is so debunked its not even funny...I don't have room to even post all the debunking, nor do I want to waste time proving you wrong (AGAIN!!!)...
Because it's not good for business mate, the US needs to tax as much as it possibly can to keep funding this phony war on terror. Pretty soon toilet paper is going to be worth more than the $.
The main price we pay in oil is not tax....again, you really have no idea what you are talking about do you? In South Carolina, the price of a gallon is 2.05$ right now....with .12$ SC tax and 18.4¢/gal fed. tax...(as of 2005 data, check wiki)...so I am roughly paying .31$ in tax for a $2.05 gallon of gas....yeah, that really helps fund the war, doesn't it? again, you theory is debunked...
whatever, you can't realize that the majority of the profit made for the price of gas actually goes towards expenses, like refining oil. I'm sure the price of gas also has nothing to do with the hundreds of different mixes required in the US, nor the fact that a new refinery hasn't been built in the US since the 70's, thanks to environmentalist whackos....
