So i finally installed adlogger on one of my sites. It asked me about how many clicks allow per person per hour. What do you have that set to?

Also when should i worry about click fraud? how many clicks per person until i block him?

It depends the type of the site. Are there a lot of returning visitors?

For site with mostly new visitors 5 clicks is standard. As far as per person per hour I put 2.

But if it is a site like forum where the same people will be there over and over again I would increase those numbers since this is standard for forums.

As a rule of thumb always analyze the one on top - they are the ones out of line and deserve special attention.

I block anything that doesn't look like a human. :)

it depends on your amount of traffic and your tolerance for stress and anxeity..

with 10,000 visitors per day, i set mine to 7/hr.

keep in mind that Adlogger OVER counts clicks because it counts "mouse overs" as a click. so if you set it too low you might be blocking people that havnt actually clicked anything.

    You did it wrong:D

Make sure the Adlogger code is on every page and make sure that Adlogger is connecting and able to write to your database.

For more troubleshooting you should check the Adlogger Forum. Trevor, the author of Adlogger is great at helping and answering questions.

Also remember, controlling the no. of clicks works only on php pages...

I installed adlogger recently and I must say I'm disapointed, (even though it's free) . I don't see the point in it counting mouse overs, that ruins everything, I want to know how many people click, not how many times their mouse hovers over an add.

I had adlogger running a while ago and I'm sure it didn't do this, maybe it's just the new version.
