    URL: http://www.rapidsearch.org
    PageRank: recently update to 5
    Monthly Visitors:
Revenue Adsense: $215.63 (31 days up to yesterday - Feb 18th)
    Revenue Text Link Ads: $74/mo

    Comes up to about $290/mo

This site has been a consistent winner for over 1.5 years and I have made a change to it recently that has increased the income from the AdSense (used to be $4.7/day now it is $6.74 - the change was made on Jan 12th so it's been more than a month with the new change)

BIN will be announced later. I reserve the right not to sell as well as sell outside this auction. Payment by Escrow.com or PayPal.com.

    Happy bidding!

Just to let you know as far as Text Link Ads goes site can transparently be transferred to you and you will take over all the income for February automatically (the clients have been paying for over 6 months and you will keep the recurring subscription)

Sorry I figured it would be easier to place all the stats on a folder so here it is:

    http://www.rapidsearch.org/4sale/

As far as starting bid goes - I already said I reserve the right not to sell so if you want to get this going - put a $1000 but I will NOT sell for less than 10 months of revenue since this is a consistent winner.

And to make things easier - BIN $3000.

    Screenshots included. http://www.rapidsearch.org/4sale/

Yes it is search engine traffic + type ins. When you search rapidshare.de it is on the front page.

I'm very interested in this site and if the bin is 3000$ then stop bidding because I'm buying it. Thanks.

Ok. Apparently this has reopened as the buyer decided to do a chargeback within 10 minutes of sending the money with PayPal because I was on the phone with PayPal asking how I was protected meanwhile. As it turns out PayPal DOES NOT protect you because a domain name is NOT tangible goods.

So... bottom line is - the buyer freaked out because I didn't reply within a minute and then I freaked out because he can EASILY do a chargeback at ANY time even AFTER I transfer the domain and there is nothing I can do to protect myself.

As a result of this. The auction is reopened and available ONLY through escrow.com.

So let me get this right, you can sell a site through paypal and later on the buyer can do a chargeback,

    Is that for real?

yes thats true, so if selling over 1k you better do it by escrow.com
or e-gold (no refunds there) or you can do it paypal, but buyer must wait 3 business days till you push the domain, so you can transfer the money to your bank.
also its a good tip to make biz with high itrader members

    $1000 to restart bidding.

So, how do you do a chargeback? I may try it after using Paypal on Feb. 11, 2007 to buy domain mynichegroups for $27 (not much, but still). Last I heard was to give him my transfer info on Feb. 12, 2007, which I did. How much longer should I wait for him to transfer $27?

It was part of mygroupnetwork at 1 of 3 now closed auctions by HomeHopper. Googled phone number is some temp agency. This is my first buy of a domain or website (or not). Yes, I just realized this is digitalpoint.

    I agree.

I was actually approached by some other people for exchanging (?) this ITrader. Weird. For just record purposes, I can raise my ITrader up to 100 tonight or someting.....

Exactly then there are people selling scripts for $1 just to get iTrader.

Site sold at BIN this time going through escrow. To the sore loser that sent money through PayPal just to do a hold on the money few minutes later - it is a shame. Whenever someone acts hasty - know! there is something is rotten in the state of Denmark!

Congratulations to the person doing business the right way.

I think we all learned something here today.

So once the money is in your bank account then they cannot do a chargeback is that correct.

So in theory then if the seller receives the money into his bank account and hen decides to keep the money and not transfer domain names, hosting details etc then the buyer cannot do anything about it.

Seems that you should always use escrow.

unine, the problem with that is that the buyer would be VERY nervous waiting since in that case he/she is the one that's not protected. Bottom line is registering with Escrow takes some time if you want to use the cheaper commission (as they need to verify you, etc) but the commission is even smaller than PayPal... makes me question why the F@#K do we pay so much commission if they don't use it to ensure smooth transactions. PayPal works best for tangible goods. When I talked to them on the phone they said there is nothing they can do to protect me, I am supposed to trust the buyer, and they only protect the buyer for intangible goods (things you can not touch - like domain names, services, etc.)
