Hey all, I run http://getcredit365.com, I just did a new layout for the site and ive been trying to get my on page SEO in order and doin well. I think ive nailed it pretty well (Suggestions are welcome). Anyway, my site has NEVER been indexed by Google. According to Google Webmaster Tools the Googlebot has crawled on average, 7 pages per a day in the last 90 days. I cant see where it shows the last date the Googlebot visited my site but according to my AWStats I have had 23 visits from the Googlebot. It gets really scary when I go to Statistics>Page Analysis and I see the the "In your Sites Contents" portion... The words its displaying are error words like: unknown failed getcredi public_html denied lib permission stream usr include_path inclusion local null opening My site is currently having no problem with PHP Includes, MySQL queries etc that would cause the pages to kick out errors with words like the above....I did a thing where you can view your page as the Googlebot and except the fact that it didnt find my stylesheet and 1 image it looked fine, no errors, no nada. EDIT: I submit sitemaps regularly and it says it downloads them Ok Does anyone know if there is a way to update that info? Is there a way I can see WHEN the last time the Googlebot visited my site? Is there a way I can tell for sure if my site has been banned? My site has been up since late September 2006 and I have never been indexed.
Your site is probably banned. If the site respects Google's guidelines, you can ask for reinclusion through the Google Webmaster Tools (click on the "Tools" links at the top right when you enter Webmaster Tools and select "Submit a reinclusion request"). Jean-Luc
you think it's worth a try? I mean is it only there so people say you can have a second chance in google, or it's true that once you get banned you never go back.. ???
There are two kinds of Google bans. If you get banned from AdSense, you can forget it for ever. If you get banned from the SERP's, you will be reincluded if you ask for, after you have cleaned your web site. Jean-Luc
I submitted a reinclusion request last night. Since my site has NEVER been in the SERPs or even been indexed by Google, is it possible that the domain was banned before I even obtained it? (The domain was on a drop list and i picked it up from there)
In the event that google refuses to unban my site what would be the possibility of maybe getting a new domain name and doing a 301 of the whole site to the new domain. Could I use that as a possible workaround?
