What are the best PPC websites aside from the giants (Yahoo, google)? I know there's adbrite, clicksor, crispads, etc. WHat would you rank as the best and why?
adbrite is ment to be good i havent uset it to get traffic but i have used it as a publisher and thay pay crap so u will get soe good traffic for chep
I used Yahoo and Google for 6 months in 2006 and was spending $100 a day when I first started. By December I was only spending $20 a day for both because my website and blog were showing up organically for all my main keyword phrases in the top 10. Now I am spending zero $. I have shutdown all my PPC accounts and now I spend money on myself.
I have had good luck with both yahoo and adcenter. My test with adbrite were terrible, but it might just have been the niche I was working in.
Adbrite sux - beware - Click fraud central - from my tests 55-85% fraud clicks not even being a real hit to the server. I could just be unlucky but....... Adwords / Overture great - you need to know what you are doing or you can lose a heap of $$ - test with small amounts and see if you going to make a profit, if not bin the idea and move on is my advice. I love PPC - but you need to get a return or there is no point
I've used MIVA with some success...although I have seen other people swear it off, it's been fairly good for me...
i'm curious as to how miva converts when you apply geotargeting. can anyone speak of their experiences? thanks.

A list of CPM, CPA, and CPC ad companies Only added those that I'd also reccomend, so its not the largest list ever, but quite comprehensive
dude adbrite is rubish as far as my opinion is concerned. they do send you ton of traffic for reasonable price but the traffic in general lacks any quality, really. that is my personal experience with them...
dude it ain't the niche, i'm telling you the traffic they send is no good. read the post above... also i havn't met or heard about anyone who would proclaim satisfaction with adbrite (from advirtiser point of view)
I've had some experience with miva, their adverts don't seem too enticing, maybe if they went for image ads it would be in everyones favor.

I have tried only Yahoo, Google, and MSN. Yahoo was the best one for me, but not until they upgraded to this new slow buggy system. In fact, i can't login to my account rightnow. says System Error and it has been 2 days now since this problem started. But i have had success with them.
