Congratulations Rob Really feeling a bit jeleous, but also very much happy that DP members' diectory is very well listed at dmoz now
Congrat Rob, we all know how hard you worked for DD !!!!! Btw that directories category on DMOZ is crap, popotalk if you wanted to give real value to DirectoryDump on DMOZ you would have placed it somewhere else , not somewhere it's not indexed!
Congrats Anon thats a good new for directory owners.. Please please give some discount for this special occasion
Thanks everyone. It's made me finally revamp a few things that i've had for quite some time, and finally buckle down to get them fully integrated. All listings now support a vast array of webwide statistics: Webwide Statistics: .EDU: 4 .GOV: 0 del.icio.us: 39 Technorati: 91 DMOZ: NO Wikipedia: 0 Google Statistics: Data Center: 64.233.167.91 Indexed: 3,360 Backlinks: G-2,010 Y-133,001 Related: 0 Cached: Yes Featured listings offer 5 extra urls AND are capable of RSS syndication for your Website(s). here is a sample of a Featured Listing with RSS integrated. http://www.directorydump.com/directory-dump-seo-friendly-web-directory-link-492.html (i used www.fizzuck.com as the sample as I do not possess a blog) The syndication is updated as you update, so it's dynamic. the statistics will be added onto a cronjob and updated weekly. Big thanks to Jeff of Aviva Directory for the blog post: http://www.avivadirectory.com/downloadblog/?p=268 Special thanks DMOZ for trusting in me Rob
You are giving DMOZ: NO ? As per ILQ tool here are your stats : ILQ 210 | Y! 0 | DMOZ 1 | edu 4 | gov 0
Cool features. Congrats, Rob. Amazing to find alivedirectory and submission4u directory are on the same data center BTW, when did you submit to dmoz, Rob. I remember I have submited mine some day.
As I've said previously, that tool is inaccurate. It gives incorrect results on every URL I tried with it.
I don't know and/or understand why you yourself cannot understand that it all depends on which DC it grabs from. There are 519 DC's in the DB, of which 1 single DC gets randomly selected. Not all DC's have the same data. It's pretty easy to understand, and yet, you make it seem complicated. edit: had to go get my coffee i know this one isn't perfected yet, but that's what time is for. (for example co.uk domains will give inaccurate results, which is why i haven't made a GUI for it yet)
