Write a folklore you heard here? And tell me what you think of it? And what it means to you? And why is this folklore told by your group.
I will tell you an urban exploration incident of mine, it happened about a year ago! The Residential complex where I live, behind it is a semi-rural area which is then followed by a hill where people own lands and some small farmers do the farming stuff. The green farms are small patches, the rest is pure barren land with dry grass all over. So one fine day, during the summer vacations, 4 of us decide to go to that hill. We began trekking upwards going through various areas and enjoying the cool breeze, when we saw ruins of an old house, it was completely broken down and only the walls were remaining. All of a sudden, one of my friend's pulled out a small carton of spray cans from his bag, and we all were like "ummm... ok" and began painting the ruin with our names and stuff. After doing that for about half an hour, we began our trek upwards. The hill had water flowing from one point and we were just walking parallel to it. Att one point, we decided to stop below a tree, we collected some twigs, and one of my friend began boiling eggs. I being, a vegetarian had armed myselves with fruits and chips . At this point one of my friends, with an intension of adjusting the dry twigs, pulled one of them. This let a burning dry leaf out, it flew and landed on some dry grass a few yards ahead of us. And the terror began, the more we tried to curb the fire, the more it spread. We filled tumblers of water and put it over the fire, but to no avail. While we doing this, we saw about 6 or 7 villagers all equipped with knives, running towards us. We were HORRIFIED and began running, we reached the top of the hill and then climbed down from the other side non-stop. And then took a bus home! Overall kind of a sloppy Urban Exploration session (we would have been more careful from the beginning if we had known about all of it), but it was still pretty fun. Abhishek
