Does anyone know of sites that allow linking? Do SEs really like these type of links? Will it increase PR? Please let me know of sites if you know of any.

If you want to find some sites with certain TLDs like that you can search on Google using this method:

    inurl:.edu your niche here links
    inurl:.edu your niche here partners
inurl:.edu your niche here link exchange

I just used .edu for the example. Put whatever extension you're looking for.

There may be some tools out there that can do this more efficiently, but this way also works well.

.EDU sites aren't considered authoritative sites simply because of their TLD extension. .Edu websites are just normally authoritative because they're linked to and referenced to a lot because they're a school or university of some sort.

So to seek out .edu is smart (well, not everyone would agree), but the point is that not all .edu websites are automatically considered authoritative by Google just because of their TLD extension.

    lol, Thanks tkilgore :)

Matt Cuts has said that Google does not give extra weight to .edu links but PoohBear88 is correct that .edu domains are already highly ranked and a pleasure if you get them linking to you.
