clicked my own ad and emailed them

I want to vent out that I have accidently clicked my own ads while reviewing my page (my young cousin suddenly pulled my hands while I was surfing and this led me to click a ad) I then immediately clicked the back button and then sent a email to adsense support.
I had some query about adsense two weeks back and I sent them a mail but there was no reply.
So my fingers are crossed now.
I just want to relax myself so I am posting here needing a warm consolation from fellow members.
ps: have you clicked your own google ad and what was the reply from google.

 

yup, happened the same to me and they mailed me back saying they really appreciate my honestly n all.

Lol yep Ive done that too. I had my hand on the mouse and got a twitch which clicked the mouse.

I couldnt believe the stupid way I did it, but Google understood and it was all ok.

 

Thats the worst excuse I have heard Just kidding.

 

Don't worry bud, google won't ban you for one invalid click, more not when you have emailed them about that; )

 

as long as you email, you should be fine.

What? Why would he want to click his own ads on purpose? Maybe you mean he should email google if he had accidently clicked several more times. I think he has done the right thing.

 

You did right thing by mailing them . Hopefully , you will be fine with it .

clicking on own ads is against TOS ... so why should he Click a few more times ?

Ya even I had clicked on my ads accidentally and immediately after that I email them and I got a reply in about 24 Hours from the Team thats " Thanks for Informing us. etc.. etc..

I accidentally clicked my ads 3 times and nothing happened.
One in each of my sites.
I didnt even emailed them.

A question though. How google knows its you who click the ads?

They track you IP at first when you fill in your TAX form and by this they know that its you who clicked on your own ads

 

I didnt filles out a TAX form. I am not a US resident.
So I can not be tracked down?

No NO NO... they track you from the IP you log into your account.

DON'T do anything stupid by clicking on your ads....

 

So, there is some relation between TAX form and IP.

google for 1 invalid click, I think you have done right thing.
