Will adsense link help PR?

    If I buy adsense ads on high PR , will this ad be counted as a backlink to my site and help with pr?

    Almost all (if not all) scripted link not for PR, include adsense ads.

    adsense are just for traffic(targetted) and it cant help your site's PR in any way.

    Buy text-link-ads then - that way you get PR and traffic.

    adsense link is a javascript link and any link which is placed thru javascript gives you no 'seo' value.

    So would writing external links in Javascript reduce PR leakage?

    And if so, would Google think it spammy?
