Well my problem is simple. I had someone who offered to pay me via e-gold and suggested that I should open an e-gold account. So I did that. Got the payment of 9$ and now I am having to play with grams and ounces, and click on funny icons. That has made me laugh at first, then I decided to give up on the account. Problem is, I have no idea how to withdraw that money or if I can do that. If someone can suggest a way, I'm all ears, thanks.

Well, the only thing you can do is to find an exchanger who would accept your money but $9 seems probably too small an amount for most to actually consider exchanging because their fees would probably eat into your balance.

    E-gold is pretty complicating.

I think you can find an exhanger in talkgold.com/forum who will exchange your e-gold into PP.

yes. all the hyip, surf site accept e-gold. no paypal. E-gold is not popular among people, because it does not have very good funding options like creditcard. and also only few mercants are accepting E-gold. but remember e-gold chardes very low fee.

Oh yes, you are totally right, as I'm from Ukraine PayPal doesn't allow me to send or receive legally money, so I use e-gold.
Well, in fact the situation for those people who are located in non PayPal countries is so:
    1. You have to find a partner with PayPal and ask him to receive payments for you, of course this is all done for commission.
    2. He sends you money through bank wire or exchanges PayPal money to e-gold and then you get them.

Well, the good thing about E-gold is that during last few years gold as a metal resizes in price.... And seems like this process is quite stable.
Recently I had about 5k$ on e-gold and it was so surprise for me that in a few hours time I got 5.2kb cause Gold became more expensive.

That is the nice thing about e-gold that when the price goes up in gold (which usually it does) you can make money. So just having money in the e-gold account will make you money. :)

    Honestly,

I prefer having them amounts stay fixed rather than changing.
There's always a bank if you're feeling like a big interest game player :)

Anyway, thanks to Disguised for giving me a hand!

I got my e-gold account a while back but the only thing that is stopping me to use it properly is their difficult method to fund your account. (Same with withdrawal)

Finding a decent exchanger a big problem itself. So, unless someone is paying me with e-gold, i am not going to have anything in my account. :)

Having read the last two posts above,
I'm wondering what could make me use e-gold in the future given the pain to fund or withdraw from there..

Can anyone explain in a few words how does that happen? I haven't seen there a way to add a bank account to withdraw to.
Do they send cheques? Do they send gold?

Well, e-gold does not do exchanges and you cannot withdraw the regular way except by exchanging it with an exchanger or someone else. They do have a Withdraw but that is to withdraw in physical gold. I am not sure how that is done as I never done so yet.

E-gold has a sister company, Omnipay, which I believe can exchange to hard currency but I have not figured out how to work it yet. I know that I can exchange currency to e-gold through it but I need to do a minimum of EU$1000

Right, I read that too, though didn't try that yet. But you can't get cash from egold.

Yes, Omnipay can help you but you need minimum 1000$ either to upload or to withdraw.

But you can get a third party debit card to withdraw your egold. It's the easiest and quickest way to get your gold out of egold account.
