AdLogger detecting huge amount of clicks -joomla

    hello
I've just installed AdLogger and in 6 hours time I got a huge amount of fraud clicks been send to my mail by adlogger script.
first of all there's some other thing that might help you understand and maybe solve my problem :) :
    1. I run a Joomla CMS site
    2. I installed only Tracking Code and Cache-Control Code on my site's php files. I couldn't install the Wrapping Code because I display the google ads on my site through a joomla mambot and a joomla module, and there is no way I could do it (none that I know of).
    3. Adlogger reported 536 clicks in 6 hours (since I've installed it). That's odd, because all today clicks are 700 (shown in my adsense panel).
    4. Here's what adlogger indicates after those 6 hours:
Total Clicks Unique Clicks Ad Units Link Units
    Overall 543 313 446 97

    Strange, huh?
I was hoping some of you might know what's happening.
I'm guessing it's an error like: when the cursor is over an adsense ad, adlogger logs that as a actual click. This might happen because of the conflict with Joomla, or for not installing all the codes.

I'm just guessing. Waiting for more info from you.
    Thanks!

You can. Install RD Add PHP mambot (search it at Joomla.org extension section). Put your ads and the wrapping code on a file and put the {rdaddphp file=yourfilename.ext} tag where ever you want your ads to appear. One important thing is you must put your adlogger database tables in the same database as your Joomla.

The problem is you need to add {rdaddphp file=yourfilename.ext} manually to all your content if you want to display your ads, but its worth it. It block so many invalid click attempts on my site.

    Hope this help.

I'm having a similar type of problem. I traced some of the IP's and it seems like some clicks are coming from what could be considered as 'dodgy' areas such as the phillipines and the middle east.
