Hi all, I'd like your reviews on this site: http://www.planewallpapers.com/ Currently the wallpapers are being sold individually but I'd like your opinion on offering wallpaper packs (like 12 for 9.95). What about coffee cups or calendars? Does the layout hinder purchasing? What would you improve? Thanks...
y pay for wallpaper when there are 1k's of sites with free ones why dont you give them out for free and have ads make money that way i know i wouldent pay for something like that and calendars could be something to charge for
Yeah, I've heard this 1k times from people. I'm sure I'm just in denial, but let me attempt to give me reasons for paying for wallpaper: 1. These wallpapers are from a freelance photographer (and all the associated costs of travel, equipment, time, gas, etc.) 2. These wallpapers are unique (not ripped from the same USAF sources) 3. These wallpapers are designed using a purchased version of Photoshop (yeah, expensive) 4. These wallpapers take artistry and effort to produce an excellent end product. 5. Adsense sucks 6. Free anythings means LOTS of bandwidth usage (widescreens are bigger than standard screens). So yeah, the dollar is really going to break the bank, I know.
Hello nextbizguy, Just one personal opinion: I would change the design of the hand in "Write your review on this product." The grey color... I would prefere more colors to inlighten my eyes But I think it's a good thing having up to date wallpapers, so if you can keep it up to date, that's cool. Good luck! SSG.
i know $1 is not much money but thats what i think. How long have you had the site and how much have you made so far.
I see a lot of "boxes" everywhere when I visit your site. You might want to try to "tie"/connect them together in a way so that it looks more like a layout? It can simply be done by adding a light grey background below your "categories" table, "new products" table and so on so that the left and right navgation have some sort of background that seperates it from the white background.
Do you thing and enjoy the ride and just keep in mind to test continuously for more exposure and profit. Go for it !!
Hey - great for plane enthusiasts! Good Luck - oh... that video didnt play for me - received a QuickTime error.
Thanks all for the comments. * Video not playing The video is a YouTube hosted promo for the site using shockwave/flash. Can you normally view YouTube vids? Can you view this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDh0EGYiv9g Is it a browser issue or have you disabled anything?
