    Did I attract your attention?

Good! Because I got a really good reason for it.

Let's say that you start with a clean domain.

PR0 Alexa N/A -- remember those good old times?

You then read DP and aggregate SEO tips.
You become a guru and you start applying your knowledge.
You work your ass off and on the next update you get PR5 or PR6

Your domain gets flagged and you get banned from google and you loose your PR.

 Very cool  I'm in love with SEO...

I cheat on SEO with my other girlfriend called PATIENCE! <-key ;)

What's the point of your response?

You could of kept that to yourself and let people interested in responding reply to the thread

You didn't go through that experience but some have and im looking to hear from them to see that im not alone.

I think what he meant was you NEVER asked for a real opinion, advice or input. It appeared like a random rant that halted abruptly.

So..do you want to get your site removed from the ban?? or do you want others to whine about the same occurence?

You never asked a question. It was just a random thought with no question posed or advice sought.

You had my attention but then you went ahead and just wasted my 10 seconds to read your rant. Are you trying to tell us that SEO got your site banned?

Yea, that's what I'm saying. Alot of efforts got it banned. So patience is my b*tch from now on..

It's important to say that if you work super hard on a new site, if the initial pr is too high, like pr5 or pr6 qooqle will flag and ban ur a$$

What I learned from that ban is:

Work initially too hard on SEO to get high PR = bad
Take your time and do the SEO over a few months = good

Yeah. I thought about that several times, too. I don't think coding things to meet web 2.0 standards does help you at all. I just think as long as your site has been around for a long time it will catch up easy.

Thats not true per say, Ive seen many sites go from pr0 to pr6 or pr7 and not get banned. You just happen to make a mistake somewhere.

Both milliondollarhomepage.com and pixelotto.com started out with high pr and stay that way and they are link farms.

Milliondollarhomepage was 7 and has been for over a year and pixelotto is a 6 and i can guarantee it will stay that way.

There is something you did wrong. If it was building links too fast you would have hit the sandbox and not be banned. You got banned, you most likely did something wrong.

So why dont you explain what exactly what you did that you worked so hard on.

well SEO is a continuous process so you don't have to work as fast as you can thinking about your goal...to have high PR on the next update...IMO no one will succeed on anything in a rush...do it step by step and with patience...

Everybody fails in SEO at some point, but you learn from those mistakes and you perfect your ways. SEO is no BS.... Failure is always on the way of Success.
I don't believe you can understand SEO without failing in it..

Exactly, and the idoit is the one who gives up.. Because if you got to a PR5 and then got banned. That means you have done something right... but not perfect.

Your first problem is that you are focusing on something as arbitrary as pr. Focus on rankings and money.

I think if he just looks back and review what he did... He will surely find the problem...
