Finalyy google indexed my pages. The problem is that he put my pages on Supplemental Result. All of my pages are in the Supplemental Result. Only my domain is not in there. What can i do, or why google put my pages there?
Are you scraping content from somewhere? Are you using one of the ready made sites which comes with the script and the content?
It's happening the same to one of my sites. All my pages, including my main index page are in the supplemental results, and guess what is in the results instead? My old site. Yes i have changed this site for 4 months, and now after 4 months he gets back into google results, pushing my real site into supplemental results. I cant believe this can happen to google.
Google puts a page in the supplemental results when it has duplicate content. Try rewriting some of the content. Especially the one you stole *cough* I mean "borrowed" from elsewhere.
I think new sites also go into Suppl... even when all content is fully unique... and the site lacks backlinks.. build some more backlinks, add content and just wait
Well to date we have over 500 million people that use the Internet. If you are one in a million there are 500 like you out there As long as they have a blog - your content is not unique anymore.
i get the same problem . you can look my experience and the solution on http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=221614
Yeah ) My favourite is: Even Google has supplemental results: http://www.google.com/search?q=site...LJ,GGLJ:2006-35,GGLJ:en&pwst=1&start=250&sa=N
Supplemental results... Is it a problem if you have unique Title, description, keywords and a few sentences of a unique text? Not for me!
Try to have unique title and META description to avoid supp. results. In addition, some incoming links to those pages also aid greatly
I have just found a bunch of my pages in SR no wonder the traffic has dropped. All my content is written by me, with no outside influence, so no duplicate content. All pages are more than a year old and have unique metas, titles, descriptions This sucks. Will building deep links to these pages help? Any advice? Thanks Smokey
I have found that when a new site goes in to supplemental it is usually because it lacks backlinks. We just recently released a new site and all pages went supplemental ecept the homepage. The homepage had a couple of links pointed to it. The of our other pages was also sup and after adding a few links it came right out. For new pages I have a theory that if they go sup its because Google doesnt give those pages trust yet. Once you add some trusted links to those pages they always seem to come out of the sup results. If you site isnt new the most common reason these pages go supplemental is usually for duplicate content or those pages are to similar to other pages within the site. Meta tags, descriptions and title tags all can cause a page to go sup as well. If any pages you have are similar as they relate to these tags it will send your pages to supplemental hell as well.
You just need to start a rumour that all the best sites are in the supplemental results and you will be laughing
i have only like 270 page and the other ( 34,000 ) pages are Supplemental !! but i dont think it would effect your traffic that much ... i still get like visitors from those other 34 thousands supplemental pages so u dont have 2 worry
http://www.google.com.tr/search?sou...www.turkcebilgi.net+***+-6bjk89l0b0n9qo4i1ns6 look this result . this the search for my web site . 10k pages are in supp. results and all of them has different title, meta keywords and description but they are in supp. hell . i'm not able to get out of them from this hell
OK, I know this is a stupid newbie question, but here goes: What are the Google supplemental pages and how can I distinguish them from regular SERPs ? Thanks
you must be kidding me. have you heard anybody jumping for joy and bragging about the traffic that the supplemental index brings them.
Google is not a he. Now get out there and promote your site! That's really the only way to remove it from supplemental - build good backlinks.
