Hi, We stumbled upon http://www.linkmarket.net/ for reciprocal link building. It's a very nice system that brings sites together who want to trade links. We have been finding it very helpful to find similar sites that are receptive to trading links. You just go through the thousands of sites listed and you can see their site and then request an exchange. There's a whole assortment of sites from page rank of 0 to 8. At the same time we get requests for exchanges as well. Link Market offers the chance to accept or decline the request. We'll get requests from other sites and can say yay or nay to any of them. If we agree the site gets the requester to put a link on their site and then LM validates it before getting us to put a link on our site. Anyways, we don't work for them or anything! We just thought it's a helpful site that might help others looking for similar sites to trade links!
I'm also using it to find relevant link partners but unfortunately i have a lot of pending links in my account...maybe it is much better to link through forums...
I agree, linkmarket is dead. All the requests are pending. I started to use link2me.com which is much better. However, exhange in furms such as DP works the best.
yeah, i've used link2me.com in the past and it's quite well. just be aware that some sites on that exchange are complete deadbeats and you'll be lucky to ever hear back from them.

Yeah, when we first signed up we thought it was great but have noticed a lot of crappy spam sites. We thought that it was going to contain sites that understood link exchanges and not just sites that add you (if they even do so) to some buried 'generic' links page with unrelated sites and no content. We know that link exchanges aren't always the best and that one way links from high PR sites are better. How can you ask someone to put a link on their site to yours but not put one back to them (without paying)? I can't see anyone being very receptive to that (what's in it for them unless your site is the best place on the internet which in that case they'd probably already be linking to you)? Crazy this Internet place is !
Please let us know which sites are “spamming sitesâ€â€¦ Just report them and they will be reviewed and removed. You guy this LM is dead, lol. That is why we had more than 3000+ new users in Jan., 2007. Do you really think all of them are “spamming sitesâ€? If you are not getting link request that means you should take a good look at the design of your site and the quality of the site.
There is no need for this unless you want to spend countless hours of searching, emailing, and hoping that you get lucky. Use the tools that we have designed for you
