Women becoming overexcited about becoming pregnant.

Don't get me wrong, I know pro-creating is a very important part of life; it's the reason we're all here after all, but I just don't get this overexcitement by some people. Creating another life may be an amazing thing, but it's hardly that hard to do, is it.

women don't get excited because it's an hard thing to do but because it's a new condition they are into, and they really feel different on an emotional and physical point of view.

It's not like it's the hardest thing in the world to do.

 

Hard things are not necessarily beautiful. Conceive and give birth of an human being is a complex thing, but the fact most people can do it without problems does not make it a "no big deal" thing.

 

For many people, it IS VERY hard to do. It took us over 6 months of trying, thank you very much.

 

For us it took about 1 month, I will be dad in august if all goes well.

You dont understand why women get excited about being pregnant?? This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard? What do we want a prize or something??? LOL. Yes for carrying a 8 lb kid around in your stomach for 9 months, back pain, mood swings, cravings, shall I go on?? Yes we do deserve a god damn prize.

And yes the fact that some people have an incredibly hard time conceiving a child, and they might be some of the best parents out there. So yeah it may be incredibly easy for some people, but then again there are alot of people out there that shouldnt even have kids.

I guess what im trying to say is, WOW... If these are your views on this then I really feel sorry for your wife.

I wasn't trying to be demeaning about women, I'm sure what what you go through is very tough and good mothers should get as much respect as anyone. I still agree with the ''Any idiot can have a baby'' philosophy, even if it's not 100% literal. Having a child does not automatically turn someone into Mother Teresa.

 

Ofcourse they get excited.. I think that there whole body and mind changes after the doctor tells them.. "Your Pregnant"
I think alot of women start thinking differently, or maybe they start taking life a little bit more seriously.

 

Wouldn't the doctor say "you're pregnant"?

 

i think they have full rights to get excited because its one gift which alot of women don't get to have, and a baby is the best present u can get...

A baby is a life that you create... it is the sum of you and your partner... Its a big deal, it is a life you will mold and teach and love.... A baby is a great thing

Having a child is a gift from God. Not just the women but the men as well. Only the careless men that are unhappy when gf/wife says honey we're gonna have a baby

 

Creating a life isn't that important, raising a good child is. Women get that a little mixedup! I've seen so many people have kids that turn out to be the anti-Christ because they don't want to teach their kids right from wrong. The marriage usually doesn't last either if you can't even raise good children, that's what I've noticed
