I moved and patterned my ads to all your advice. Made my site my visitor friendly. And i got 600 hits yesterday but it only returned 20 cents.

Why is this? how can i improve?

i hate being poor on adsense

    remember its www.easychum.com

is it 600 clicks or visitors? also your site is not a high paying one, so you can expect only 5-10 cents per click, try to place large rectangle ad block.. place the link unit on the top, try different color for links and urls in adsense..

hey chum, IMHO the best way to lead clicks to your ads is trying to integrate them with your content, give them the same aspect as the rest of the text, in that way they wont look like so much as adds. So is more likely ppl do click on them. Higlinting them in that flashing green would have the contrary effect.

I told in different way and cornchild told in other way, it depends upon the pages and testing, sometimes blending works perfect and sometimes the odd ones, so you should wait couple of days and decide which one does well for your site...

Try change the whole ad theme to black. I actually had difficulties reading the green ad.

suggetions - move the link unit to the top, change the font colors of the all green ad, an ad to the side bar will do some good as well. and pray you get good paying sponsors. ctr increases , so will the moolah.

That's an excellent CTR, unless of course, you mean 0.03.

0.3% ctr is horrible for adsense... but i'd kill to have that on some of my affiliate ads, lol.

chum, the green color of those ads is awful... the object is to make the TITLE of the ad stand out, the advertiser words it so that it'll get the max attention, so the publisher needs to make it noticeable.

try red for the title, and black for the text body, maybe a dark green for the link color? just get rid of the dayglo colors.

fwiw, you could be risking your adsense account by trying to make money off of copyrighted content that you probably don't have permission to use... i'm referring to the cricket videos that look like they came from broadcast tv.

If I was a visitor to your site, I probably would leave right away even before I click on anything.

First of all, I have to scroll to the right just to see the rest of your website. Try to have your entire webpage fit on the browser.

Secondly, I would never click on an ad like that. Flourescent green! I can barely read the words. Blend in your ads; use the same color scheme as the rest of your content.

Third, I would just re-design the whole site. The design is a turn-off and makes me want to leave.

Always remember when you build a website, build it for the customer, not for yourself. Think about the content and design that your customers would want to see.

neon green on a white backdrop is nearly invisible, at least to me.

That's not that bad. I get around 80-100K hits and only makes $30+

I wonder why my CPM rates are SO crappy...
