Paypal took back my $90 because of a DP member Anthonyy

Once a guy sent me PM and said "i am interested in your car wallpapers"

    His username on DP: Anthonyy

I sold him for $90. I collected them from many internet free download-able websites. After selling him i made a thread on DP to sell more copies because it's my business to collect stuff and sell to make some money.

Here's the thread i made to sell 11,000+ car wallpapers:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=230256

    Open date: Jan 28th 2007, 6:04 pm

When he saw my thread got jealour or something. After selling some copies for $90 I then lowered the price. Then this guy sent me PM to give him half the money back because i lowered the price. Well deal is deal as we all know. There are many sellin script first on high price then they sell for low.

He threaten me many times and i have his PM history which i can show to DP owner.

Ok after downloading stuff and all he opened his own thread to sell the same copy of my wallpapers:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=2295295

    Open date: Feb 7th 2007, 11:28 pm

Notice this point that he already have download the stuff and is selling too.

Now after weeks of deal i got this message from paypal which is sent by him:
On a forum, I was told to send this person $90 from paypal. He would then give me the download link to download an image collection (2.5GB worth) I have attempted to resolve this with him, but i never get any responses. I believe I am scammed and have given up on this as its been several weeks and no responses.

Now he got his money in his account but what i should do?
I am just writting all the things to paypal hope to get my money back but i hate buyers like this person. We do our best but they are not respectable. I request DP owner to delete and ban this guy. Not only ban but also ban his ip so he can not see us again.

    Thanks

Imperfect person in perfect place. What can we do? This is the disadvantage of Internet marketing. Don't worry! Mail the paypal elaborating all the history with DP Pm and also about this guy selling your wallpapers in eBay. ALL THE BEST!!!

This is kind of scary. I have heard about Paypal is very stringent and pays close attention to this kind of transactions. What kittyluver suggests is something you should consider. Best of luck !

    Paypal are the worest.
They side with the least riskiest party.

I have had my share of trouble with them as a powerseller on ebay.
I would not recommend them unless you reall really need to purchase something tangible from a reputable seller.

Make sure the person you are dealing with has great feedback.

anybody caught red handed like that ought to be banned but unfortunately on DP you have a much higher probability of being banned over starting a thread in the wrong category than being banned or punished by committing fraud.

that's 3 people now in like 3 days that have been F'd over by another DP member

You can get your money back in matter of seconds :D Just write a little note to paypal or write in that dispute resolution field that "item was virtual" and you should get your money asap because paypal does not cover virtual goods. Goodluck :)
