Traffic from some high quality directories

    the best way to find out is by looking at some of the sites in the category ur gonna submit ... and look at the detail page... it says how many hits they have gotten.

    I know that, but that is too low.

    Some site listed in april 2006. has got only 2 clicks ?!

    it dpends on the category your site fits into.

    For example the sports section get very no traffic, (because webmasters are not interested)

    usually for most categories you get no traffic at all

    The value is in the back link, traffic will be limited but likely to be focused

    Then you will get close to that as well.
    Don't submit for traffic, submit for a quality back link.
    I am receiving no traffic to speak of, yet I have listed my sites to over 50 quality directores, each. However, I did get more traffic from search engines, due to higher rankings I got.

    ive submittited to hundreds, no traffic from them, but I have seen great results in the serps so it provides indirect traffic

    As others have said, you'll get virtually no traffic from it.

    If traffic is what you are after I would instead be looking at niche directories that are dedicated to your sites niche.
