I will never go bak to CRT. And i'm waithing for new Sony OLED displays. At the moment I'm with 19" TFT's at work and 22"widescreens (TFT) at home.
Is it THAT great? Then I think I must try it, can someone educate me how to? My MSN ID is in my profile! IT
I'd like to have the 27" one, but I don't see that happaning soon (or at least in the few months. Correctus - waht's your video card?
i'm sitting here browsing forums and submitting to directories while watching Smoking Ace's i'd say its good, shame film aint lol
I think they will be someything like $5000 (at least), but that's not the point - they will preserve my eyes (and since i'm in front of the computer most of the day) that's not the thing wich matter.
I dont know... but my driver is S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR Do you know where do I find which Graphics/Video card I am using? (XP) IT
I think that graphic card is too old, look at the back of your PC do you have two ports for the screen?
Man there are graphic cards avaliable for 50-60 dollars that will do the job. If you really want to try Dual Screen, which I really recommend. Then go buy that graphic card now!
Oh COME ON theres gotta be a way? EDIT: I'll Ping my hardware dealer first thing in the morning, thanks KoK! IT
Well I used to be on a forum... where we said "I'll ping you" to mean "I'll contact you", so I guess thats where it has stuck from to my e-lingo. My computer is a vintage one, bought it back in 2k2. IT
you don't need two monitor ports to have duel monitors, my second one is USB second screen can only go up to 1024 X768 though
I dont need more than 1024 x 768, but the monitor needs to have the cord as a USB as well right? The thing is I already have two monitors (five in fact) and they are all serial ports. IT
Sorry - buy my English isn't so brilliant and I have problems with Idioms (slang or what you call it). So I’m sorry for that stupid question. I don't think your computer is too old, but sometimes dual monitors can give you a lot of trouble if you aren’t familiar with it. Well – usually – you need (or your OS can crash). I don’t know about USB, but that’s not true for video cards with two ports.
