darwinism is False?

San Diego, CA – Human Devolution: A Vedic Alternative to Darwin’s Theory (Torchlight Publishing, September 2003), the highly anticipated sequel to the controversial bestseller Forbidden Archeology, continues the literary drama with the same astute attention to detail and ground breaking revelations as its predecessor.

Forbidden Archeology documented a massive amount of evidence showing that humans have existed on earth for hundreds of millions of years. Such anomalous evidence, contradicting Darwinian evolution, catalyzed a global inquiry, "If we did not evolve from apes, then where did we come from?" Human Devolution is author Michael A. Cremo's definitive answer to this question.

"We did not evolve up from matter; instead we devolved, or came down, from the realm of pure consciousness, spirit," says Cremo. He bases his response on modern science and the world's great wisdom traditions, including the Vedic philosophy of ancient India. Cremo proposes that before we ask the question, "Where did human beings come from? we should first contemplate, "What is a human being?" Cremo asserts that humans are a combination of matter, mind, and consciousness (or spirit).

Human Devolution contains solid scientific evidence showing how a subtle mind element and a conscious self that can exist apart from the body have been systematically eliminated from
mainstream science by a process of knowledge filtration. "Any time knowledge filtration takes place you can expect a great deal of resistance, criticism, and ridicule when it is exposed and
    challenged," says Cremo.

It is absoultely correct and will be accepted 30-50 years down the line
When another Eienstein will scientifically prove that there are dimensions other than space and time and soul of all living beings continue to exists in those dimension even after their death. (Aliens will help his research)

Human souls can get de-evoluted and be born as animals and the reverse may also happen.

Would you care to share your proof? Or is this just a belief of yours?

Did you understand the thesis of eienstein where he proved time as a dimension? can you even imagine there can be dimensions other than space and time?

    Yes.

    Yes.

Where is your evidence for the following statements?

and the entire book was written without any science what so ever! Come on, give me a break.

Go read "the universe in a nutshell" by stephen hawking for a great insight into multidimensionality. In no way does any of that have anything do do with an afterlife, nor has there been any proof that an afterlife or "god" exists, but it is a good read for anyone that is actually into science and not pseudo christian science (christian science is an oxymoron)

If you want to believe that fairy tale loosely based on science, by all means go ahead.

Ah the brick wall of ignorance. So soon into the thread.

The difference between you and I:

I accept the theory of evolution because it is the only scientific theory consistent with the observable evidence. If it were falsified tomorrow, I would no longer accept it to be true.

You do not accept the theory of evolution because it is incompatible with your religious beliefs. (Strange, because millions of Christians worldwide embrace evolution AND their faith without trouble). I'd wager that no amount of evidence would allow you to hold evolution as true. If that is a false assertion, then please explain what evidence you would require in order to accept evolution.

Have a nice life with your Bronze Age myth.
    I'm out of this thread.

See you on the other one ;)

And yet it's not consistent and involves great leaps of faith. Where there's an assumption, there's faith and there's no shortage of assumptions in the theory of evolution.

"And where did that come from?"

The bane of the theory of evolution.

There's many documented instances were ghost-like phenemona is said to occur. I'm not quick to say it's true or not.

Similiar things could be said about aliens. There's no 'proof' of their existence, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

People debate whether the method of evolution Darwin suggested is correct...they don't really debate whether or not evolution occurs. Most accept that it does.

    ---
That being said, the above seems like humerous science...but they can continue on if the wish.

I'm reminded of the perpexed chimpanzee at the zoo who wondered, "Am I my brother's keeper or my keeper's brother?"

Absolutely. As scientific skeptics we must keep open minds. I am fully open to the existence of, amongst other things, ghosts, multiple dimensions, unicorns, Bigfoot, aliens and God. Yes, God.

We need to critically analyse the objective evidence put forward for such phenomena.

I'd be interested to hear more of the "documented instances" you speak of. From all I have read of ghosts, the evidence has not sufficiently demonstrated their existence.

    So far.

PS. I loved this. It is truly genius comedy when both "sides" can find something to laugh about it - but the laughs come from completely different origins.
