Glad to see enom took action.
Registerfly is possibly worst company I've seen.
I'g guessing they go out of business.
    Too many lawsuits, etc.

The problem I have now is that enom got me the names back, but wants $160.00 per domain name because the 30 day grace period has passed, even though I was trying to get the names within that time and couldnt due to the flyboys losing them and me not knowing/being too busy to go about it.

This has got me a bit worried and wondering as I have a dozen or so sites with regerterfly. I got this email from them yesterday.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    Important Announcement Feb 6, 2007

Discontinuation of using reseller services with enom.com
We are aware that enom may have sent a notice in regards to the relationship between enom/registerfly.

As of February 2006 RegisterFly.com become an ICANN Accredited registrar. We formerly used to resell domain services under enom.com but stopped accepting registrations for them on February of 2006 (1 year ago). Since we are ICANN Accredited we have no need to process new registrations/transfers under enom anymore and spent the past year moving large numbers of names away from enom.com to RegisterFly.com. The amount of names remaining at enom.com is relatively small. Any registrations/transfers after February 1st 2006 are directly under RegisterFly.com, inc. which would not be affected by this.

Our top priority is ensuring our customers are not impacted in anyway during this transition. If you are a registerFly.com customer, rest assured we value your business and strive to offer the lowest possible pricing with the best online tools. For a limited time you can renew/transfer your name away from enom.com for only $5.99 per domain name. One year will be added upon
completion of the transfer. If you decide to stay with enom as the registrar you will pay considerably higher to renew than the special $5.99 rate we are offering. You can contact our customer care center at 305-674-0165 (8AM to 9PM) or via email at customercare@registerfly.com on specifics on how to move your domain name(s) over and take advantage of these special savings today.

If you call within the next 48 hours and take advantage of this offer you will be eligible to receive an additional $7.99 account credit towards next years renewal.

    To contact our support staff:
    =============================

    URL: https://registerfly.com/help/
    PHONE: call us 305-674-0165 (8AM to 9PM 7 days a week)

Please ask for the special code when you call in to RENEW/TRANSFER away from enom.com to RegisterFly.com.

TRANSFER NOW AWAY FROM ENOM AND PAY ONLY $5.99 /ea
    $5.99 /ea

I think this thread needs to be locked. Aren't we all knowing that RegisterFly is working fine?
It's becoming boring when everyone just confirms that a site is up and running. Oh well.. Neither educative, nor informative.. Any website may experience downtime, can't jump to conclusions if IE or FF gives a request timeout. I'm sure RegisterFly is loading fine for the thread starter here.. It is working fine, guys, shall I make this bold?

Why are you interested to transfer them? Registerfly is online and will be online lol! Its one of the biggest registrar in the world, its not so easy for him to get out without rehabilatating you :)

If there's a serious domain registrar around, that can also happen to be ridiculously cheap at times when offers are rolling,
    that's GoDaddy..

All you NameCheap and GoDaddy fans should take a good look at MyDomain. Their transfer prices and transfer system are awesome, and their registration prices are better than both NC and GD.

Enom is sending a series of misleading emails toward stealing clients

BTW, there are a few topics related to this issue inside domains' forum.

Does anyone know what is going on with Registerfly.com ?
i used them back in 2004 for the simple reason that they accepted a basic paypal account and go daddy didn't. But even back then they had huge problems and barely ever worked. Then they quit accepting paypal, and had other problems So i moved all my domains to namecheap.

about 3 days ago i told someone that I'd buy them a .info domain for $2.99
I couldn't do it at namecheap because they have a minimum of $7.99 that you can take from your paypal account at a time, and i didn't want to do that.

So i saw that registerfly started accepting paypal again. The domain was for someone else, so i wouldn't be having to directly deal with it for long anyways, and i suppose i just assumed that they have fixed the problems from 2-3 years ago.

So i signed up a new account, got a .info domain, went to check out and it took the money from my paypal account.

But then it would NOT register the domain. I've tried 30+ times now (i get the error reports sent to my gmail) and it simply wont work for me. I thought that it might be the Opera browser that i started using, so i tried it in firefox and got the same thing. Just stupid errors that make zero sense (they say i forgot to fill out info, which i didn't)

So the other day around 5am i created a support ticket. So far i have had no reply or anything/ I've updated it myself a few times, but still no reply or help. The system still doesn't work.

So now i lost that $3, which isn't much, but I don't want a crap company to have it.

is there a way for me to get my money back? Or what?

I am currently having major issues with them as well. About 5 months ago I initiated a transfer into them, it still has not taken place and they charged me 4 times for it. Each time I open a support request for it, they close it. Each time I call in, they argue with me and tell me they never charged me for anything. I have also been trying to transfer out 14 domains from them into NameCheap, the refuse to unlock the domains. I have unlocked them atleast 3 times a day for the last 3 months to get these transferred, yet the lock remains. I opened up another ticket today and they modified it to look like this:

    Full Name: manuel minguito
    E-Mail Address:
Ticket Subject: USA Hey, please release me let me go And for I don't love you anymore To waste our lives would be a shame So release me and let me love again 406847487

Now needless to say my name is not manuel minguito and I did not make the subject of the email: USA Hey, please release me let me go And for I don't love you anymore To waste our lives would be a shame So release me and let me love again 406847487

They did that. I am at my wits end and do not know what to do. I received the same email as you did OP but I deleted it by accident. I really needs these domains and I am worried i am going to lose them.
