You have an interesting argument before Google if you've been banned from using Adsense. ;)

edit: I removed the link - it wasn't appreciated!

First, these type of posts are so lame. Just post the content that you want to discuss. Why make people go to another website just to see what is being discussed.

Second, the information on that site offers no help if you've been banned from adsense. In fact, it is just some loser bitching because he doesn't know what the word "content" means.

Lastly, as I mentioned, that blog post is lame. That fact that some people do not think a photo or a comment submission page is content is hardly newsworty. That is their own lack of understanding, not some inconsistency on Google's part.

Can I have the 10 seconds I wasted reading your pointless blog entry back? Thanks!

PS: I second what browntwn said.

I would disagree with that above comment. I have seen it many times when I have articles on my site that are not allowed to be re-published and someone has then gone and just copied the whole or a large part of the article in the forums. Just because it's a forums, rules still apply for copyright.

I agree with the comment about Bebo though, it is on a non-content page. :)

Browntwn - If there is a source of where an article came from it should always be given, and rather than copy and paste it I just put a link. I would like to think you would know that by now.

A comment page is NOT content, especially when after the comment is posted, it is not placed on that page, it is directed to the persons homepage. Therefore it is not vaild to have ads on it.

Thank you John and Softcloud. It is a clear breach of the rules that Google hold to so dearly.

What Browntwn concerned that i understand is the issue you want to talk here are too simple and straight forward.."google is so strict for google ads on any non-content pages".

Bebo is among the top searches for 2006. if i not mistaken from the ranking of top searches 2006, it beat myspace, world cup, and metacafe. It drives a very good amount of traffic. That's why google put it as special case..

Is that fair though? Shouldn't they make any clauses public?

I was not suggesting he not link or just copy the entire post. Just give us the gist, so we can make some decision to read more or not.

Even just.... 'a discussion of content/no content pages with adsense using bebo as example.' ... is that so hard?

Anyway, I should not have even posted. Some people already know everything.

    Good luck all!

Man...you wouldn't wanna be easily discouraged from blogging. The attitude of some people is quite astonishing.

I'm relatively new in my attempts. If you have a problem with something I've done then I would be delighted for some advice, but some of you have poor social skills.

Either that or you're really upset with your life or something.
