Really? He wanted the US to be passive and support Iran's right to assist in killing American soldiers and wiping out the Jews? Oh wait, they did wipe out a few Jews, didn't they? Hold it, Iran wants to do that too. And you support Iran. Who did you say was following the playbook again?
While I don't like war and the death of civilians, I think that USA attacking Iran is beneficial for the world in the long term. USA is already in it's way to become as second rate power in a process similar to England and Soviet union and I estimate that this will happen around 2020. An attack on Iran will only accelerate this process by putting more pressure on USA's economy and forces all other countries to develop nuclear weapons in order to defend themselves. This will result in situation similar to cold war period when countries could not attack each other for the fear of an all out nuclear war.

The dow set another record today, just so you know....inflation is in check and the economy is booming just like it was pre-dot.com fallout....its proof that the war is not affecting our economy at all, if nothing else, it is just helping us, like it did when the US entered WW2...that boost brought us out of a recession...

Not sure about your wording here, but we came out of the depression after the war....not after entering the war. Perhaps it's just wording and you meant the same thing. Roosevelt never saw our economy in good light.
