1 click, $0?

My website is for a very profitable niche, and the clicks I have received to this point have all been in the range of .80 - 1.30 per click. However, my first click today got me absolutely nothing. I have channels for my ads, and I checked the ads that I see where that click came from, and none of the sites there is an MFA or anything. What could be the problem here? Thank you for any help.

It was an invalid click most likely.

    i got 5 clicks today with $0.00

first thing i did was send over an email to adsense support. 1 invalid click might not need an email...but anyhting over that id shoot one over saying something might be up.

one invalid click isnt a big deal,..if you see a pattern, then adsense will see a pattern. and thats a pattern google will give you the ban hammer for.

Also, if by chance you click on your own ad at some point on accident, send them an email saying you clicked on your ad on accident.

Tim, do we need to email google if we clicked our ad on accident? have you emailed? what the response?

    Michael,
invalid click can make you adsense id get banned by google. you have to take precaution action in order to track all the click come from. one thing you can do is putting adlogger. you may search for "adlogger" in this forum. there are many information here about that.

If you clicked on your own ads multiple times, then yes, you should definitely email Google and tell them what's up. Otherwise, they'll assume that you were trying to earn some extra money by clicking your own ads and will likely ban you.

I think you should wait a couple of hours. All results are not showing on the same time always.
