LOL Just like the Pepsi Mars commercial... (couldnt find a YouTube link to this particular commercial) http://www.m5industries.com/html/portfolio/rover.htm
In my mind, the only way you could consider it hard, is if you are a word that rhymes with hard that starts with a R. The Fox show claims....~ "he had trouble controlling the lunar module in CA and crashed it several times"... Well no S Sherlock, do you think gravity has anything to do with that? and the mass of the module on the moon vs. a dessert in CA??????? to me the show was about as scientific as using your fingers to check to see if water is boiling yet.
I personally think the moon hoax is just too far fetched to be true. Who knows what has been done to any footage you may find on the internet at this point? I'm saying we did it. I may be wrong, but wouldn't be the first time
The USA did land on the moon. Just like all of the wacko claims by the 911 conspiracy nuts, the wacko claims made about the moon landing being faked prey on the fact that most people know little about physics--especially when the normal rules are altered by a near vacuum and lower gravity (1/6 that of Earth). The flag "waving in the wind" is the one that convinces a lot of people, only they don't consider the fact that once inertial motion is started, it requires a buffer--like atmospheric pressure and normal gravity--to stop it quickly. It doesn't require wind to make the flag wave on the moon. All it takes is for someone to start the motion. Although it is possible that the moon landing was faked, it is an extremely remote possiblity. Guess what, the plans are in the works to go back again.
I think they didn't go to the moon, but this stuff is typical used in USA like Kenedy asasination etc .... olso COld War Period If they really did landed on moon why not since then even if the technology advance they didn't go again ? asck yourself this ...
Again. We went only 5 more times afterwards. There wasn't 1 moon landing, but 6 in total. Fake one, great. but why fake 5 more? who cared after the first time?
That's pretty easy to explain as well. The country was in economic chaos in the 1970s due to Johnson's Viet Nam war and the War on Poverty. Both were huge expenditures that the USA was committed to at the time. The reusable shuttle program evolved out of budget cuts. Aside from the Great Depression of the 1930s, the USA economic conditions of the 1970s were the worst of the last century. The last moon landing was Apollo 17 in December of 1972. The reason the USA is planning to go back to the moon now is because it is viewed as a necessary part of the plan to land someone on Mars. The idea this time is to set up a base camp. Personally, I don't think we will make it to Mars until they figure out a way to solve the enormous problems astronauts face with bone decalcification due micro-gravity, food storage, fuel and other issues related to a journey as long as the trip to Mars. Part of the reason for the space shuttle program and the International Space Station is to find ways to overcome these issues. Here is an interesting link for all of the junior rocket scientists out there http://pirlwww.lpl.arizona.edu/~jscotti/NOT_faked/ .
Okay, I'll bite my tongue but this really is a silly thread. These sort of rumors crop up from time to time and are based, in part, on a movie called Capricorn One where NASA faked a Mars landing. Later, people began to suggest the whole moon landing was a fake making for some pretty interesting, if not stupid, dialogue. There are people who take government conspiracy to a zenith when they don't realize that someone, somewhere would leak the information that the moon landing was a fake. Don't take shows like 24 or the X Files seriously; otherwise you'll think the Men in Black have the power to fool every person, every time.
Let's see... spot a two foot flag from above at about 1/4 of a million miles away. Sounds kinda tough to do. I don't think it could be done with an amateur telescope. All kidding aside, if you had a powerful enough telescope you could probably find the descent stages (lower portion) of the Lunar Module and the Rovers that were left on the moon. They are a bit larger and would probably be easier to spot. The ascent stages that were used to blast off of the moon and return the astronauts to the Apollo capsules were deliberately allowed to crash on the moon. That probably left a few man-made craters. Oh, no. We littered up the moon!
found it! if this doesn't convince you it never happened nothing will!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59F_hKHFPHk
it was completely fake in my opinion ... First off >> Moon's gravity is too low to even hold a person with such a big pass (How is it holding the flag?) it was a political issue and russia didn't point it out because they can't go to the moon anywayz
