how do you run idex.php

    hey i have uploaded a php website script, and in the read me file it says this:

    ******************
    Installing script
    ******************
    1) Upload all files and folders to your website.
    2) Make chmod 666 of config.inc.php, options.inc.php. And chmod 777 for members/uploads directory (chmod is only for UNIX systems)
    3) Run install.php to setup script
    4) Delete install.php for secure reasons !!!!!

    how do you run the install like i said i have uploaded it and click on it and it dont do nothing please please please can some one help me:confused:

    did that it just came up with a error page. any over ideas, before you ask my host supports php version 4.4.4 and operating system is linux

    Which script you wants to install and is it in some directory other than root, like
    mysite.com/mydirectory ?

    Make sure you upload the files to your public_html (or htdocs) folder on your host.

    make sure you chmod the file(s) or folder(s) that it says you need to (in ftp client, right click, properites, and change the chmod)
