Does any one know a tool that checks email (or text content) and generate spam score, that spam filter use to filter out spam emails? I know, above statement creates an impression of sending spam emails. But, on other side of coin, if someone wants to pursue email marketing campaign, how do they check the campaign flyer (write-up) is not jacking up their spam score? Is there a way to check the spam score?
I don't know where to find an online auto-checker although aweber has this service built in so you can check your outgoing email's SpamAssassin score. If you really want, you can check the default list here: http://spamassassin.apache.org/tests_3_1_x.html Sean
This would be a useful tool for me. I find that loads of my legitimate emails, sent to subscribing members, get spammed out. It's really infuriating, so this kind of thing could be very valuable (we're talking over 20,000 members). If anyone knows of anything let me know!
http://spamcheck.sitesell.com/ ?? EmailLabs has one for their customers. My delivery rate is VERY HIGH!
Thanks for the site. Only problem is, its not taking my html+image content. However, it did provide me a spam score for my clean html text.
This thread is full of OUTDATED information and tools (for example SiteSell tool that is based on a very outdated version of SpamAssassin). Yesterday I posted here some useful information and someone removed my posts. Most probably it is a reason behind deleting my posts. Can I know please what was the reason, so that not to repeat my mistake? Thank you.
You can try also this site's tool. It is free too. http://www.contactology.com/check_mqs.php Also you can search online for a detailed list of words to avoid in your emails because many words easily get your email blocked by the filters.
It seems someone also deleted my post on this subject too. Not sure why that is either. I use a program called MailingCheck which i find very good.
is there such a thing that exists as code that can be integrated into existing code rather than having to use someone elses service?
usually autorespoders have spam checks incorporated... you did say you are asking for email campaigns and not spam, right?
