If the wrong paypal id is available then make an email account with that id and accept the payment or refund it .
If the wrong paypal id is not available for registration and the payment is still not accepted then write a mail to the person to refund the money else go for paypal case filing .

    Yes, dont worry..
Contact that person to refund your money ( incase he opens a paypal account on receiving your mail - if not then no worry )

Otherwise you can always make a claim/ call support center.

If i go for case filing will they freeze my accoutn till the case is resolved??

I dont wana call them unless its toll free. However i prefer writing to that peron else filing a case looks more suitable but will my account get freezed coz i cant afford it to be froozen,

Seriously, what are the chances of PayPal support actually helping him out? That other guy might say "yeah, that's my money" and PayPal might think you just want your money back. The "real" recipient could just as well be a friend of yours who's accepting your payment to make the transaction look legit.

Infact I think they would help him out, the paypal terms and conditions state that sellers and buyers trading without using postal systems arent protected by seller or buyer policies, and so the money belongs to the person who sent it in the first place.

Paypal have always been very good with me on the phone, they do thier job pretty well in my opinion.

No your paypal account will not be suspended.

All you need to do is ask for refund for that activity you did, if this doesn't work yes the best thing to do is contact paypal, and then contact the person you are sending the money to ask him/her for the right paypal account that he has, then you can send the payment or when you contacted that person tell him./her to request payment from you and you'll recieve a payment request from paypal from your e-mail you can click the link and pay the person from there. Hope this helps :)
