just keep re-posting this in 10 different threads. then you'll get to see one.

or start a thread that says "[insert DP member name] is an ASSHOLE "

Rather than being sneaky, trying turning "email from admins" on and get some feedback. You never know, the red may turn yellow too.

You keep creating posts that are usefull for people and say things that people think are really good. Then sometimes people will send some green reps your way :)

    OK, This is getting stupid.

I do not give a damn about my post count!

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/infraction.php?do=view&p=2336995

Isn't it a rule that I must post in a thread before I give iTrader?

"If you did not participate in a deal within this exact thread, your account at this forum will be subject to termination."

Please remove the infraction or amend the rule.

I didn't give the infraction but think the "post has no value" part is what you should pay attention to.

    Your post:

    "I have sent a PM"

is of no value to the forum or any of it's members.

    Yes, I understand.

How about; "Thanks for the swap!"

That has no value either. Or should we just be more verbose:

"Hey, Thanks for the swell swap! You were a delight to work with and I will tell everyone I know about your wonderful site."

Not meaning to be a smart ass, but please tell me what post of this type "has value".

Actually, since you guys just started enforcing this stuff, I think a PM or warning explaining the problem would be appropriate. Allow the poster to edit/delete his post and then issue an infraction if there is still a problem.

An infraction is a warning. And we didn't just start enforcing this stuff.

Also, you don't need to post in the thread to give i-trader.

How else will the administrator know to enforce this?

"If you did not participate in a deal within this exact thread, your account at this forum will be subject to termination."

    Hmmm...

A warning carries ZERO penalty points. An infraction carries one, at least in my case. So, in this instance, an infraction is not a warning.

I've been here for a couple of years and never recieved a warning OR an infraction, but in the last two days I have recieved one of each, So it looks like I made it on someone's list.

I would submit that an infraction that carries a point is not a warning, but in fact a penalty. If enough infraction points are garnered then those penalties result in a temporary ban.

An infraction with 0 points, to me seems more like a "warning". Warnings generally are not penal.
