AdSense alternative

Does anybody know of a contextual ad service with a less restrictive policy than AdSense. I'm pretty sure that my site wouldn't get accepted by AdSense as it is a music downloading site. I've got AdBrite, but I've gotten 2700 uniques and 4000 page views (approx) in the past week, but I've earned $0.41, because their ads just suck (they're not contextual, so their ads are all irrelevant and uninteresting). Any suggestions?

Yeah, but if Google doesn't accept my site b/c of copyright infringement, then since my site's on blogger.com (and Google owns Blogger), they could shut down my entire website. By the way, my site is http://master-of-metal.blogspot.com if you wanna check it out.

You should test AdBrite. They are way less restrictive than AdSense. :)

Maybe I'm just not being patient enough, but those network ads don't really attract any clicks. How long does it usually take to get an advertiser to buy ad space? It's only been a couple months, so I guess I ought to just wait and see how things go. Until I get an actual advertiser, I'll just be stuck with those good old "Cheat at online poker!" and "Free Sex Dating!" ads.

It takes a while depending on your site traffic and how much you have set your price. You also need to tag your site and describe the ad zones really good.

Also, it takes a week until you get a good rotation of network ads.

A tip is to only accept "clean, family-friendly ads"..

i would select 'Also include edgier ads' on these type of sites.
you'll get more clicks on "need girlfriend?" ads then you would on load ads. ;)
you'll make more if you use banner ads.they are a mix of ppc and cpm ads.
you need to lower the price a bit if you want people to buy an ad.

They are better only in that thing. Other than that they are absolutely useless. I don't recommend any starters to use adbrite. Same goes to bidvertiser.

Adster is better than those two, but still not good enough. Even exoclick is better than those two.

No no. AdBrite is way better than Adster and Exoclick.

Listen there is no alternetive that pay like adsense.

most of small companies are scams.

YPM pays good but you have to have only US traffic.

the rest of netwroks pay 10% of what adsense pay.

I did a case study with adbrite, adster, exoclick and bidvertiser.

Performance of adbrite and bidvertiser were disastrous. They earned really nothing. Absolutely nothing. I even turned on interstitial ads for adbrite. I gave enough time to both before removing both the ads.

Exoclick and adster both earned around 10 cents on the same time with same amount of traffic. Which is wayyy lesser than adsense. So I removed them as well. Now just having adsense. At this moment there is no alternate to adsense (for non U.S. publishers).

Maybe it all depends onw hat kind of site you have.

For me AdBrite works the best - I make the most money from it.

I've tested Adsense, Bidvertisers, Clicksor and a lot of other programs but no one has been able to beat my clicks and earnings from adbrite.

Interesting to know that adbrite even beats adsense. This is the first time I am hearing that:)

    Good luck....
