I'm on dialup (I live in the middle of BFE Tennessee) and the last I checked the google web accelerator was optimized for highspeed access. So for me it's a loss-loss situation. I'm still stuck slow, and all the fast people get faster...

    *cries*

Yes, been using it since 18 - 20 mins and it saved me 3.4 minutes already (at least it says so) and I can even "feel" a bit of acceleration, or maybe its just an illusion

Well this is better software for Dail-up users not for us who used high speed Internet.:) Try this software if you feel you are on slow connection.

This has nothing to do with slow connections, its actually about caching and making things overall better accessible.

Did you ever take a look in the upper right-hand corner of your browser? That is where you can see the time saved per total sessions. It is for sure working, maybe at different levels for each connection, but at least for me its working.

My suggestion to users dling this, DONT its not worth it, it stores all pages in cache and sometimes when the page has been updated, it doesnt show it fat enough, speed without accuracy is not worth it. :)

Can you please rephrase that? I don't understand what you mean by "fat". And where is this tool not accurate?

Sorry for the typos, im on my laptop cant type as good on it, anyway i meant "FAST"

And i mean, what this tool does is store all pages on your memory and everytime you go to a new site it checks the online page with the one on your hard drive if its the same it loads the one from your hard drive

now that part works like a charm

but if the page has updates it takes 2-3 refreshes to see what i want to.
Its really a traffic killer for big sites.

What about privacy problems? I am a bit on the paranoid level and wouldn't like big G or anyone else intercepting my displayed pages and creating marketing data out of them or worse - injecting content into what I display.
