If God/Allah Forgives Me I Will Go To Heaven: What Do You Think

Great post, I often wonder why people need something more than the world around them. Why do we need to think about what happens after ... Is this world not enough?

 

haha, exactly. Do you remember what life was like before you were born.....................NOOOOO

so what will it be like after you have died................................the answer is self explanatory.

We are all individual energies, just pieces of the universe.

 

This world is terrible. Look at the way people treat each other and have done for centuries. There are billions that suffer daily and all we can do is think about ourselves. No wonder the world is the way it is. But not for much longer according to the Bible.

Our evolution simply hasn't allowed for people to get past thinking only about themselves. WE all live in our own worlds in our own brains, its impossible to look at the world through someone elses eyes. We can try but its just not possible.

It will take many more years probably even hundreds of thousands to get past the selfish greed and focus on the good of all life on earth.

 

It is prophesied that in this system of things we will never get past it. Instead, God will step in and cleanse our system just like he has done before. But this time it will permanent and we will be under a rulership mankind has never experienced before. An everlasting one. According to the Bible of course.

Why would this information be absurd? It's all in the Bible just as I stated. If you don't believe in God then the Bible just becomes a book to you. If you think it is just a book then why would it be any different than other stories written in novels?

People are astounded what is actually in the Bible when they take the time go through it. It's way better than any other novel I have read and I have read heaps.

well if we are talking about the bible as being a completely fictional piece of human story telling, than I agree with you completely. Anything can be thought up on pen and paper with our imaginations.

but to me its absurd to take to it literally"God will step in and cleanse our system just like he has done before" to me is true insanity.

 

Of course, you have every right to think that. However, close analysis and study of the Bible has revealed many historical things. I think it is very interesting how many things have been unearthed from the ground that belong to Bible times and also some of the remaining buildings form those times. If these things that were recorded thousands of years ago that we can see today, then it would not be wise to fully discredit the other things written there.

The only way to find out these things is to learn about them yourself just as I have done. I think it is very interesting how many verses there are from different books that make up the Bible stating what people would be like and also the timeline of events chronologically. Especially all of the prophesies about Jesus that were written 200 and 400 years before they happened. But not just when it happened. Where it happened as well.

These things are all in there.

well how the book changed over verses and different people writing it and manipulating its words, of course they would say that prophecies of jesus happened 200-400 years before he was alive. Is that not clear??

how could the story we know now remain uncahnged over thousands of years and also prophecies, its real easy to say something will happen and prophesize about it when you already know its going to occur because its in the past.

 

Fair comment. Let me ask you this question. Of what purpose or gain could someone have for changing the content of the Bible?

well its simple. Control of the people. If people are living their lives based on this work, those who control the work, control their lives. That is the whole purpose behind religion and faith anyway. To give people hope and they will follow blindly without questioning.

If you believe the bible has never been modified, you are very misguided. Isn't it a mystery that there is about 100 different versions of the bible??

 

But I never said it had not been modified. Just seeing where you are at my friend.

OK. So it's about control. So, if you have a look at all religions on the earth today can you safely and accurately say that every one of them is controlled by someone? In other words, an untouchable type person that wields power.

well all religions are pretty much the same, and fall into the same categories. Telling people how to live their lives and what is ok and what is not ok. Most of the global scale violence that occurs today is religious based.

but the real cause is money and control of power, religion is just a simplified way to get to the masses. Everyone believes what they are told their whole lives, that is why people are willing to kill themselves for their so called religious ordained causes.

 

It is true that many religions and their people act this way. I suppose it makes us wonder if there is any religious organization out there that are not consumed by power and control. The question raised is there a religious organization that is not dictated to by man and only goes by what is written in the Bible, does not get involved with politics, does not go to war, does not get involved with immorality and most importantly is not hypocritical in deeds compared to their words?

and the answer is that anything controlled or created by mankind is shrowded in lies deception. The entire world runs simply because of personal gain. IT is however the reason we have come so far so quick.

We aren't all enjoying the endless supply of foods from all over the world in our super markets and the endless amount of goods in walmart because the establishment wants to provide people with the best opportunities possible.

OUr entire society has succeeded so quickly because of profits and personal gain. Religion has just become obsolete for the scientific and economically driven world. It remains because of people unwillingness to break tradition, and the overwhelming fear of death and the unknown.

 

What I can say for our society is it is successful for promoting individuals only to look out for themselves. You know, climb the ladder of success. But, what most people do not realise is that ladder is not made from wood or steel. It's made of people. That's right! To succeed in this world today you have to climb over a lot of other people to be looked at as someone acceptable. It's sad to think we as humans have come this far in life only to look rotten in most peoples eyes.

Again, the way people are today is all prophesied in the Bible. You only have to read 2 Timothy 3:1-5 to see it points at us directly.

well people have always been this way its nothing new. But i agree its too bad, but oh well we all only have one life time so live it to your fullest i guess.

 

I'd rather live my life according to God's will because at least I have a hope for the future and also living a pleasing life for me and those around me. It's not a bad life at all living under God's principles. I am enjoying my life now more than I ever have. Believe me when I say I have lived pretty well up to the time I opened the Bible.

You heard of the saying "You'll never ever know if you never ever go"?

i've been to church, seen the bible. Its not so good to just take what you're being told as is, there must be some questioning. And religion and god just do not have any answers. Its just we're still all just primitive beasts so the belief in god is in 99% of people.
