I'm interested in getting back into the PPC game. I tried it early 2004 and lost hundreds. I tried to follow the Google Cash method but obviously didn't get it. I want to try again and have looked at two programs - Campaign Blaster by Matt Levenhagen and Wealthy Affiliates. Has anyone used or is using either program and what are your thoughts? Christine
I'm biased I suppose since I haven't tried Campaign Blaster, but the Wealthy Affiliate in my experience is really all that you need to be successful. I personally accredit it to my success of not knowing how to be successful on Clickbank to the point where I am now, making sales consistently. If you're just looking for a good guide to get back into the Adwords game, I'd recommend Beating Adwords, as it goes through the tactics you need to actually use Adwords to your advantage and not waste money trying things that don't work. -T
Does Wealthy Affiliate pretend you're a newbie and take you through picking keywords, landing page, writing ads, etc? Or is it for experienced adwords people? Since joining WA have your CB sales gone from $x a day to $xxx a day? I mean, has it really helped? Christine
I have a question regarding "beating adwords"... I am an adwords newby and will be setting up full campaigns for the company i work for. We will not be selling small affiliate products, but essentially consulting engagements for tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars. I'm wondering if it would be worth it being that the guide is focused on affiliate income, which is quite a different business model than what im working with. However, it seems, that because i am an adwords "newby" there still may be some useful info to be gained?
Does anyone here rate adwords made easy ? I am reading it at the moment. It recomends a program called Keyword Elite. Costs close to $200 smackers. Anyone know if its worth getting KE or is there someting cheaper out there?
Yep, that's the great thing. You could be someone who doesn't know HTML from the NHL and never sold anything in your life, or you could be someone who did $2k in sales yesterday - and Wealthy Affiliate works very well for both. Kyle & Carson offer a complete 6-week tutorial designed to get you running at a very novice level. There's tutorials, tips, tools, and a lot more - and of course, the forum, with people who aren't afraid to divulge how and why they are making good money. They'll tell you pretty much anything you need to know about landing pages, quality score, adwords, Clickbank, CJ, forum marketing, article marketing, and really so much more. For me so far, before joining WA, a Clickbank sale for me happened once in a Blue Moon. Now, it's fairly daily, though of course there are some off days. But best of all, any time my stuff fails to convert as I expect, the people at WA offer personal advice and help me look through what I'm doing to find anything that might be wrong. Even the programs founders, Kyle & Carson offer personalized, 1-on-1 advice, which really impressed me. I can honestly and straightforwardly recommend it without a doubt. It's priced at about the lowest price you'll find, and if you're interested in learning what it has to teach, you will literally save yourself money, whether you're a pro or a beginner. -T
I have purchased Beating Adwords, and it's a great kick-start guide to take you through the stages from "what the heck IS adwords"... to "how do I increase ROI and conversions" and all that sort of thing. While I would say in general it is a little more affiliate focused, I would say honestly that its techniques for the system apply to almost anything one would advertise on Adwords with. -T
I agree with Telmari. Wealthy Affiliate is all you really need. They have a ton of resources that come with the membership (keyword tools, keyword lists, feeder sites). But I think the most valuable parts are the forum and the personal coaching that is available from Kyle and Carson. Being able to pm them about a campaign of yours and seek advice is truly invaluable. I've read Beating Adwords and while I do think it's an excellent read, Perry Marshall's Definitive guide to Adwords is THE book to get. There is an ebook version for $49 or you can get his paperback version he just released for just $16. http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/1599180308/ref=s9_asin_title_1/105-8254384-7470066
Wealthy affiliate is a good program. There are many members of WA at affilorama, and they only say good things about it.
I've been a member of Wealthy Affiliate since the beginning of the year and I think it's way underrated. Anyone a member of Affilorama and Wealthy Affiliate? How do they compare?
Hi, I think it would be a little late to comment on this one because I dont know if you found your answer or not. But as far as I think keyword elite is getting rave reviews from everyone. Although cheaper options are also available but you better check out the things that you would like to have in your keyword tool. Some of the other ones are adwords analyzer. But almost everyone recommends keyword elite. Hi kokopoko, I dont know if you have joined wealthy affiliate or still sitting on the fence. As for me, I found it to be quite good and very helpful. It gave me an AHA moment, where it seemed like I had finally got it. Now my thinking has really changed. If you want to know more then send me a pm and I could show you something that would help you to decide if it is right for you. The only condition being that you dont reveal it here and keep the information to yourself. bye, faraz
Well, I almost cant believe it, i just bought and paid for my first "make money" type ebook or service, this better be worth it. Ive been pulling $100+ days for a while. I need to work on my campaigns and landing pages. Someone here just got my affiliate sale.
i just read it, and i use KW elite ! I think its defintly useful ! I mean, the book is mainly a sales pitch for KW-Elite...but i think i learned a lot, also how to use KW Elite more effectively.
i have NOT found a way to see CPC, R/S and KEI etc. indexes anywhere yet....if i knew a free way to do that i'd use it So far only KW Elite shows this info, and its really important.
Basically I am going to make one recommendation to cover everybody's questions in this post. You don't need anything other than Wealthy Affiliate. Even beating adwords is not necessary, although it is well worth the price and a good place to start. You can find most everything that it contains scattered through the wealthy affiliate forum and throught the courses and lessons on Wealthy Affiliate. Wealthy Affilate can help you as a beginner, intermediate, or advanced marketer. It doesn't matter there is something for everybody and the support and coaching is worth 10 times the membership fee. Good Luck everybody, Benjamin
Obviously!! I agree. It has been the best thing for me. But as I said earlier different people have different choices. Some people want to know more about it before they join. $30 is not cheap for everyone and they really want to make sure that they are making the right decision before they join. It also depends on how advanced a person is in his marketing efforts. Only that person can decide. As in my offer in the above post I had revealed some of the stuff to the people who pm'ed me. Some liked it and some didnt. So, If you pm me, I could help you decide if it is right for you. hope this helps. bye, faraz
