Looks like another war is coming and Iran is the target.

For a start, the fear among some is that the US is softening up world opinion for an attack on Iran. Such an attack would be aimed at Iran's nuclear facilities.

And if that happens fully expect Putin to join in the mix

It's possible but unlikely. I don't think the Democrats will go for it somehow. Bush has been trying to get the UN on side, paving the way for future military action but it would be a hugely unpopular move in both US and UK.

I thought it was Iran that was softening up the world for an attack on Israel? Hardly a month goes by that Ahmadeenaspunk doesn't express islam's true feelings for Jews and calls for them to be wiped off the face of the earth. But, they are just Jews

True...did anyone see the news today? Apparently Israel successfully tested their missile defense system over the weekend....nice warning to Iran.

Well, the question is, was the weapons smuggled in or was they sent in as from an order from the Iranian leadership.

It just seems ..like there are gearing us for something .. we all now that Iran does what they do .. pretty obvious.. and we all now what we do in the US to piss off most the world.. So sooner or later ..the "gangs" will meet.

We need an EASY BUTTON for the world.

    LOL so true buddy.

Halliburton is making a god damn fortune from all this out in the Middle East.
The longer this goes on the more billions they make.
Good sound business sense it is. :D

now that it seems NK deal is in making i think we can take a moment and take stock. may i remind the hawks
    +Libya is turned around
+ NK seems to be working out
    +lebenon started a democracy
    - Iraq wmd and other issues with intelligence
    -return of Ortega
    -Chavez
-loss of good will in most of the world
    -possible miscalculation in NK
    -situation in Russia
    -lenenon
i have 3+, means 3 success for doves
and 6- for the hawks which means hawks miscalculated
if it wasn't for the south america situation i would say that this might be the result of hawks ideology but as it is now i want to make sure about everything.
so i would be happy if the hawks would take 5 liberal senators and in private explain what is going on. if their argument is so strong that they want to put our young in battle field then they must satisfy at least 4 of them
if these senators support the hawks then we should also support them
other wise lets get every single neocon out of policy making loop and replace them with republican and conservatives oresidents choice
but who listens to the pizza boy lol
