I just added a phpld directory to an existing real estate general information site.

The site is PR4 and I've added links into the directory categories from the existing home page and from within the relevant content pages within the site. This should help with passing the PR deep into the directory.

Regular submissions will be free to DP members for the next couple days so we can populate it with some sites.

Here she be ---> Real Estate Directory

This is my first attempt with phpld script. So please let me know of any problems you may encounter.

And feel free to recommend any categories, or sub cats i may have neglected.

Directory looks good, submitted a site. Thanks, I like the 250 min character rule, that is a great idea.

Yes I want lengthy descriptions so there is ample content for G bot to chew on. Also forces submitters to write something longer than they are submitting to the 100's of other dirs they post to. Gives me a bit more unique content and thus should throw more link juice (trust value) to the links.

Many other dirs have a 250 MAX limit. So i decided to make that my MIN. Contemplated making it even higher, but i think thats good.

Oh boy, I'm surprised with how many submissions require editing of descriptions. People can't spell. Well either can I but Firefox has a built in spell checker that catches most of it.

And a few are adding some extra spaces between words to squeeze in a few extra characters to reach the 250 minimum.

    Switching to paid tomorrow.

    It's pay now. $4

Sorry to those that missed out while it was free.

SEO's with Realtors as clients should PM me regarding some options. Particularly if you own directories too.:D

Never had such a hard form to fill out, gave up on too many errors. Must be just me so I will leave your link on my directory :)

I checked your directory page rank:

    http://www.realestatesoldeasy.com/directory/

    It gave me PR-0.
I checked also the inner pages same result PR-0.
The home page is PR-4, but it has no listings on it.

Is there any benefit submitting to it?

    Thanks!

You'll notice in my announcement that the dir is brand spanking new. Thats why its posted here in Solicitations and Announcements. So no, there is no PR yet.

Yes my home page is PR4 and all my content pages are PR 3. They all link to the new directory. Content pages are linking to the relevant category pages of the dir. I will be passing PR as deep into the directory as possible.

I'm link building to the new dir pages too, not just my homepage. Just got a nice PR5 sitewide link from another dir to my real estate dir.

So yes, I feel there is great benefit to submitting to my directory. And after next PR update expect prices to rise.
