Xenyo's first DAILY posting competition will start on 13-Feb-07. Competition Rules are as per this thread As a special starting bonus - Tuesday's Winner will get USD10 as prize money. The competition starts at 00:01 GMT - 13-Feb-07 and finishes on 23:59 GMT. Subject to the rules, the best poster for the day wins USD10. Should be fun and may the best poster win.
Thx Kop Fan, We're going to run with the rules as specified until we can judge whether it is possible for us to spend the resources required to pass subjective review of posts ... since its a daily competition, it may be quite hard to get right.
The prize is a reward to our best posters. If you have the highest score at the end of the day, then you will win a prize.
okei so if we post more then we will get more score and the person with most score will win at the end of the day . Right ? < ofcourse , no spamming and copy-paste stuff >
Aye ... I am considering at the moment to give more points for longer posts to prevent the one/two liners. Whatcha think?
I think there should be some specific criteria for selecting the winner to prevent bias.. OR rather you can say " admin will decide the best poster " - that will not make sense.
5. The scoring will be as follows. 1point - Relevant Posts over 30 words. 4points - Relevant Posts over 75 words. 4points - Starting Threads over 50 words. 12. Only words that the member has written will be counted .. i.e. Quotes and copied text will not be counted in scoring system. Something like this ?
Update: Hoho, seems Soccer is in the lead at the moment with a 13 posts ish ... Not a great score but i don't think hes finished .. ;P
Competition was fun and soccer won with something like 5 posts.. Anyways, we are making a few admendments to the rules and holding more regular competition very shortly.
