Bidvertiser scam?

Discussion in 'Pay Per Click Advertising' started by ryukenden, Feb 10, 2007.

I have registered a few websites with Bidvertiser but so far no clicks. I tried to click on the ads from somewhere in my area so they will not recognise my IP address just to test and those 2 clicks do not appear in stats as well.

I think Bidvertiser is just scam and making money from the people who register or pretty unreliable.

    Any experience with Bidvertiser?

I used them for a while, to both advertise with and make money. I never made much, I think under $1 if anything. I never found advertising with them very successful either.
Regarding your experience, it does sound a bit dodgy and it was pretty much the same for me. I clicked on a BidVertiser ad on my site once from a different PC and it didn't seem to register...:-?

Bidvertiser is total shit, I couldn't agree more. I guess you've been banned from AdSense? Why else would you choose Bidvertiser over them? Bidvertiser have poorly targeted ads in a dire range of formats and a poor PPC. I would avoid them like the plague. The spamming bastards also send lots of crap to your inbox. Steer well clear of Bidvertiser.

I am still using google adsense but like to have some websites with some other context ads so that I could compare and earn a bit more money.

I have registered with Kontera but I am looking for a good google adsense alternative so that I could run some websites with google adsense and some with google adsense alternative.

    thanks

I have been paid once via Paypal. You are entitled for a Paypal payout if your total earnings is $10.

If you receive around 10 clicks a day on Adsense than you will definitely get around 0-2 clicks a day on Bidvertiser. But if you were getting more clicks, then you would probably be getting more on Bidvertiser. A lot of the clicks you send them doesn't go through but their CPC is pretty decent. The bigger your site and the higher your CTR is, the more you will get. My friend made a little over $80 1-2 months ago through Bidvertiser and it was only a month's revenue.

Bidvertiser and Targetpoint are both companies that seemed to give me no clicks almost! And then adsense came along and I could not believe how many more clicks I was getting. The ads look very similar it makes me wonder why bidvertiser does not record as many clicks?

So did you go say to them "hey you bloodsucking bastards - I clicked my ads 6 times and not one click showed up - you thieving gits!" That's the trouble - the only way of proving they rip you off is by trying to rip them off! One of those vicious circle thingies.

To test different PPC ad networks, I implemented their ads in one of my blog , gave a run of two weeks and it produced 0 clicks. Same goes to adbrite........

I got 0 clicks in 4 months with bidvertiser and in the same period got 400+ clicks with adsense, their ad's are total nonsense and non-related to my site theme, so I dropped them with 100% failure lol

I tried Bidvertiser for long months with no revenue after clicking myself and asking people to click just for testing purposes, click never recorded.

They offered me a bonus to signup as advertised and I never got credited that money either

    BidVertiser is NOT a scam.

They are great addition to Google Adsense, although their ads are not content relevant and mostly about making money.

It depends on where you put your ads. If you put them in forums, the clicks can be good. Though the money I earn from Bidvertiser is a lot less than Adsense, but they are definitely paying.
