I'll say:" Dude, what's going on? Today is another day where more 25,000 young kids will die of malnutrition on earth. Time to write these lines, boom, 500 deaths. So Dude, do you job correctly or you're fired."

I guess you didn't get the memo that it's our job to take care of each other.

Or did you think God was our servant?

You're lucky God doesn't fire *us* for letting so many people starve to death every day. Oh right. We can't allow our government to toss out the corrupt governments that allow people to starve because it's better that those people die than put our soldiers in harms way. It's not our problem. Where is Rwanda anyway? Who cares. Blame God.

Why hold governments responsible for taking care of their people? Blame God. God should be personally giving us everything our heart desires. Not driving a reliable car? Blame God. Can't afford to eat at the four seasons? Blame God. It's not our fault we're too lazy to take care of ourselves and each other.

why would I be joking? If I confess God as Lord of All, and if I am a Christian then I look to revelation as a glimpse of what heaven will be like....I know that when I am in heaven I will be worshiping the one that sits on the throne, which will be God...how is that joking?/

I'm not quite religious, but I'm assuming this has relevation to those whom hold credence to the word's of Christ.

"The Kingdom (of Heaven) is inside you and it is outside you Split a piece of wood, and I am there Lift up the stone and there you will find me."

That's from the Gospel of Thomas I believe. Stigmata uses it. Good movie. Excellent sound track.

The context in which the verse is used is correct. In fact the reformation was partly based on the realization that the physical church is not necessary for salvation. The Mormon church and others have since tried to bury that Truth yet again. That Truth is what made people realize that the Catholic church didn't have as much power as it pretended to have. The true Church is all believers. Not a building made of stone. Not a membership to an organization.

However I don't buy the verse despite it sounding nice. Rather than "heaven" it is God that is everywhere. The Biblical verse which that one is based on talks about God not being in temples made of stone.

Heaven and earth were seperated after the fall. So no, heaven is not here.

it sounded to me that the question was regarding while you are still here not when you are in heaven

That is from the Gospel of Thomas...which is gnostic and not considered Scripture by the church...

Well we all know that Jesus will be coming back, and will establish the kingdom of heaven on Mt. Zion...so assuming that God comes up to meet me means that I will be living in his Kingdom, and will therefore know who he is...which means that he will be the one sitting on the throne, like I said in my original post...please stop bugging me with questions where the answers are right in front of your face....

I'd just ask to see his driver's license.

    Sheesh.

God might not require any driving license, else how is He managing this universe, He can be in the both pole of universe at the same time.

You can assume the universe as sphere with 30000 light years radius, God might not take no time to reach from one place to another else if God was bound by the physical law of universe (that is anything can travel at lights speed at maximum), so in this case God might have required 30000 year to answer your prayer.
