One of my websites gets most of the visitors from Search Engine results.
Most of the visitors are from Google followed by Yahoo and MSN.
    Checking the statistics,
I used to get almost 150-170 visitors from Google results a week back however from past 3 - 5 days The no of visitors from google results have drastically reduced from 150 to 20 odd visitors.
    Any suggestions??

SERP have probably been adjusted, check your positions and you'll find they've dropped

    - or -

People this week just don't feel like searching for the keywords for whatever reason

I think it is due to changed rating structures and priorities of Google since the PR update. I saw the same thing happening for me for a few days.

It's the opposite for me, my search engines traffic is twice as much after the update. :)

I think you should get more backlinks to your website to re-increase your search engine traffic

Check your Awstats and see which are the keyword / phrases that has greatly reduced the traffic stats (as compared to previously). Most probably you have a drop in some keyword(s) ranking.

I believe this is the reason. Another possibility is as per KC statement where there is a drop in some keyword(s) ranking.

do a bit of SEO and see what you come up with
It should turn out all right. Google has a knack for putting up content sites to the top

You've been maligned in Google results. I would get brushed up on what has changed (I'm doing this myself), so you can hopefully move back up again with the next PR update (probably April or May).

Looks like you dropped in your rankings. You need to maintain optimizing your site. It does not mean that if it ranks high, it will rank high forever. You should add more content to it and continue building links.

    Thank You for your suggestions,
There were total 1200 key phrases where my site ranked among top 10 according to my awstats profile.
Also the visitors are fluctuating since past 3 days.
yesterday the no of visitors were around 120 and today its 30 again so i think that its because of algorithm changes.
Also i think there is some decrease in keywords ranking due to non updation of my site since past few days.
I will try to update it with some new topics and see if it helps though it would take time.
Will update here if it works.

The keywords on the latest articles have been on top and getting visitors from them but the old keywords are getting on and off from google.
However currently the site is getting considerable traffic from both MSN and Yahoo and ranking high on prime keywords.
It seems Google is constantly updating the feeds.

ITs hard to believe but seems some of the key phrases are gone.
However they are still at top on other Search Engines.
Can anyone suggest whether submitting to various Article Directories would effect in positive way or negative way.
