How do you increase SERP?

I'm not concerned with PageRank when it comes to my website... however, I would like to increase my placement so that my page shows up in some of the top results. How can this be achieved?

Is there some way to manipulate meta tags and keywords so that it makes the site easier for the engine to index?

First, I think that when you asks a question like that you need to provide your URL, so we can take a look and notice what is wrong with your website..

seccond - I only believe in white SEO, so keep getting links to your site and increse your content and number of pages...

 

Well, you need to care a little bit about PR if you are competing with high demand keywords. Also place your keywords in your title, heading and content.

Ofcourse buying links from quality sites would help you gain PR. In return, you SERP will be better. But again it all depends on what kind of keywords your are looking to receive traffic.

If it is a phrase or unpopular keyword, then yeah, you won't need PR to compete to better SERP.

 

The URL is decals.tk I just set-up a temporary site last night while I finalize the end product. I've scraped meta data from the top google sites for the key-word "decals".

 

Just make sure your html code is clean, your content is good and with my blog i use a seo plugin and this has helped me greatly in terms of SERP

 

Yes, it is possible, There are lots of factors which can be considered for higher ranking.
1. Meta tags should be properly used
2. Cotents should be unique and high quality
3. Backlinks to your pages but that should be relevant
4. Also, If your keywords have higher competition then there is a chances that it will take a long period to get higher ranking but if there is a less competition against any keyword then you can easily ranked high for your keywords.

well you have to consider PR a little bcoz to gain quality links it will help you ,in other hand more traffic

 

i think you can use long tail method to try better rank looking good for you site. cannot fight them with popular keyword you need to grab long tail phrase or kwyword for you site and a lot searching about what product you targeting.

My store has been live for over 1 1/2 years. I have been working very hard reading up and trying to implement changes to increase Pagerank and SERP. I finally achieved a PR1 google pagerank but I am not listed in any search engine results for any of my keywords, it seems that every other site has better SERP than mine.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Use some of most keyword in your unique content.Then try to hard to get quality backlinks.

u need to build a backlinks and create meta tag

 

Why not go rank for long tail keywords first. Also when building back links, it's important to have proper anchor text.

 

make high page rank theme based back links for your website.
