I finally got phpLD installation to start (the dir is up too :D) (on a free host)

Since i was just starting out , i opted for using free hosts as an option (big mistake) , after quite a few days of trying out at various free hosts, i had almost given it up, i began doubting myself about whether i could read the instructions well and follow them , phpLD seems like a very easy install even for a noob like me but somehow i didnt get it to work anywhere and it was really frustrating. I kept on switching the hosts, and about to buy hosting space (which i plan to do soon as i start understanding the dir thing completely) but finally i got it to work at 110mb dot com , im very pleased to finally have my directory out there

Building the categories now , almost done with it , getting to know the admin panel options & ..........figuring out how to add the adsense code in easily , tips are very much welcome guys

 

Good to see you are ready to go.
I simple create a separate file where i put in adsense code you can check http://www.forums.sbclansite.com/index.php?board=14.0 and download any 2.0 template and check the coding , it will help you figure out where and how to create files and include them in the main page and hence have adsense code going.

Must be cause from one of those forbidden zones on that site.

Will get a new domain going for removing such issue.

you can always use ninjaproxy.com to bypass that error.

Well, I have no problem giving away free accounts...but some guys apply and forget! Even after approving accounts, after some days I find that they haven't uploaded a single file...time and effort wasted!

 

heyloo, i didnt get a return mail for any confirmation otherwise i was much too eager to sign up there (as you might have guesssed from the introduction) as it seemed the perfect place to host a phpld for a noob , i dont require the space anymore, sorry for the inconvenience anyway.
