If having nukes prevents countrys like the heavily heavily US backed Israel from killing loads of innocent people as they did with Lebanon I'm all for it.

See how Bush and the rest of the crazy neocon/PNAC gang have all of a sudden lost interest in NK since they have developed a nuke. ;)

i wish the president would replace every single neocon in his staff and the vice president's staff. i am sure there are qualified conservatives and republican that can fill these positions.
considering the return of ortege situation with chavez and the rest of south america hardening of russia and the rest of it, their ideology have not served the country well

I have to agree with the Russian president. Honestly what he says is true. The United States has broken international laws and poses a great threat to world security.

Putin needs to talk this over privately. The last thing we need is for old sparks to start with Russia.

Everyone can smell the stink of the "sh@$t" that has been hitting the fan since Bush came in office. Putin just said it in the open, IT STINKS REAL BAD.
Why should Putin bow to empty headed people with rotten views of how to live among civilized people?

Say you are the little guy in the block and some gang members bully you all the time. For how long you are going to take it without looking for effective ways for self defense?

Whatever Bush touches turns to failure or disaster. Now he wants to start another arms race. $400 Bln wasted is not enough. Let’s burn another $400 Bln. to show the world he can, or that his foolishness has no limits.

..."Unilateral, illegitimate actions have not solved a single problem, they have become a hotbed of further conflicts," Putin said at a security forum attracting senior officials from around the world.....

.........."One state, the United States, has overstepped its national borders in every way.".........

US CAN NO LONGER TEACH OTHERS ON DEMOCRATIC VALUES. Thanks to this Admin.

With or without the antimissile shield Russia will hit back if attacked for sure.
And they have the means for it.
The question comes, is Bush serving the American people or just a handful of Americans?

Mate, I agree with most of what you said but please avoid quoting FOX News.

Fox News is a neocon/PNAC supporting Illuminati cabal owned media outlet controlling millions of American sheeple, just like SKY News in the UK it is owned by Illuminati big hitter Rupert Murdoch.

You don't get real news on FOX, all you get is what they want you to get. ;)

........."It is a world of one master, one sovereign ... it has nothing to do with democracy," he said. "This is nourishing the wish of countries to get nuclear weapons."

............."This is very dangerous, nobody feels secure anymore because nobody can hide behind international law," Putin told the gathering............

But none of of this is going to solve anything. The point of what I said is simple...we have no interest in making this a cold war part 2...it's best that Putin and Bush talk. It's best that the future president and the future Russian president talk continually.

Whether or not Putin's opinions are right or wrong means nothing, if they don't solve anything. Even worst, I hope they don't agitate anything. People get all swallowed-up in this anti-bush drum-line, that they would even clap if the devil spoke ill of him.

I don't know. I just dont' waste my time with that. Country like ours and Russia...really have no other option but to be allies. And that's my only concern. I'm not going to point fingers and join the propaganda parade. I don't see many things admirable about either Bush or Putin...but all things aside, millions of people depend on us all getting along.

Putin has done nothing for Russia except drive it back towards communism....Russia needs a president who wants to work with the rest of the world to bring them out of the 1950's...

Well, Putin got a high approval rating in his homeland. I can think of a lot Russian Politicians that would like to re-establish communism. Don't think that Putin actually have put Russia back to communism, but I think that he tries to stabilize the country with some methods that you may question.

But take those conclusions for the laymen speculations that they are.

    Damn straight.

Good,...Gates sounds like a reasonable man. Hopefully some of the difference could atleast be addressed...one-on-one.

That sounds like a much better PR campaign.

    Well done....
