I would always recommend Esyndicat. It is a good script. Of course, I hope people will choose phpLD. I have said this before:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=2136687

I assume you are directing this toward phpLD or Esyndicat. I'm not sure what your point is and you have a "backlink" in your last post

I have never tried using PhpLd, But I feel that Esyndicat is far far more superior than php Ld.

This statement has no meaning whatsoever. How can you possibly say that one product is superior without trying both?

phpLD has come on leaps and bounds since this thread began. It's a much improved product to the earlier versions.

Don't bother dude its a waste of time, i wasted 10 days trying to fix and trying to get some support, the script and support is at its last stages and would be dead soon.

Still using phpld2 and phpld3 , i do not like phpld 3 much though cause i see no means of transferring my old db from 2 to 3.1 , aint spending another 10$ for just support, probably can do it myself but will take away my time.

    So overall PHPLD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Esyndicate

Oh did i mention with esyndicate you have to enter ipn number and url stuff in your paypal to get paid links feature going, and hence if u go for unlimited license ur still stuck with using paid links feature only on just one domain if u got only 1 paypal so thumb or rule for using esyndicate paid feature is No.of domains = No. of Paypal IDs for paid feature to work?

In short they got the worst payment modules ever seen on internet.

Dunno maybe one day when esyd. team gets times will fix this issue.

    Regards.

Totally false. See Products with support: eSyndicat Pro and A Small Orange for my obviously very different experience.

Yes, I am using eSyndicat Pro AND have used phpLD. And of course you are entitled to your opinion - but the part that is totally false is this:

The "blog" you don't give "dammn" about is my comments on eSyndicat support, to counter your claim.

    For what product? :)

I don't post on my blog every day - only when something especially impresses me either positively or negatively.

Ok, i'll keep that in mind. Maybe one of these days i'll get over to the esyndicat forums. simon never did tell me about the extra new features as he said he would, so i hadn't bothered to go over there. I was going to write a few MODs for esyndicat as a testing grounds in learnng the scripts functionalities, but well, still waiting to hear about those changes. :)

How about one that would autosend to spammers or submitters who repeatedly try to list their PS3 or ringtone site in a health and mental health directory saying, "Knock it off or a very large man with no neck will show up at your door and cut your balls off!"?

I'd definitely give you a great review for that one. :)

Honestly, I can write a filter to do just that. I could also allow you to pick and choose to train and define it, as well as allow you to select the sole categories to which this would only apply to. :D

Actually, all submissions to my directories are manually reviewed and edited. What amazes me is the number of people who, after I reject their sites, will immediately re-submit.

Seriously: If I just rejected your site as not meeting my criteria, why would you think that resubmitting an hour later would change my mind?

    Some people just baffle me.

I can write a MOD that automatically puts those rejected sites into their own DB, so you wont ever have to deal with the resubmissions, as the MOD will check the denied table(as i would call it hahaha) for that site

So much that I can do :evil grin:
