if you breached google adsense TOS, it is clearly you will get banned, BUT when google will ban you, it is up to them..no one in DP can answer you, i guess...
    so.. don't breach the TOS..:p

I accidentally clicked on my own ads.....twice and got banned 10 min after that. Don't' work at your notebook late at night.

I had several applications opened with different window sizes. My ads were on left side of IE and when I wanted to go see my site I clicked on ad. I immediately saw it and press BACK and didn't open the page of advertiser. This happened 2 times while I was working in 30 minutes.

I got e-mail that I am banned 10 min after second click. No warning.

I am banned for life and I am very sad about that :( Just started AdSense two months ago. I was waiting for them to offer it in my language (see my last posts) But I was wondering 2 things:

    1) ten days ago I write to them and told that somebody clicked too many times on my ads and what to do about it? Usually I get 1,5$ per day and that day I got around 17$ and lots of clicks. They never answered this. Could that also be the reason for ban?

    2) I think of myself as very honest person and I am not happy that I didn't get paid for all the valid clicks that my site has sent to advertisers. If google can know which clicks are invalid what is the problem paying only for valid ones? I understand zero police on scums but I am sure that I am not the first one who accidentally clicked on his own ad.

For God's sake this is computer virtual world. I am using optical mouse on shinny table not that I am driving a car and must watch for red light or I will kill people.

I have better solution for google: Take 10$ for every click that I accidentally do. Don't ban people.

Btw. my payments were on hold (didn't want to take first 100$ even though I could) and I had around 155$ when they banned me.

    I agree.

And I also think that those kind of things should be improved. Some software solution that would prevent you from clicking you own ads? I lost 155$, others lost thousands and thousands of real and millions of potential dollars. There have to be better solution than banning people.

For example when I go to toilet some of my colleagues can click on ad from my computer. And I am banned for life and losing all earned money? This is stupid and I am sorry if I could not sympathize with people who are defending those type of customer service.

Basically i've put a few "irrevelant" keywords in the meta tags for a few days, resulted in an increase in earnings, then i removed it. No fraudulent clicks or MFA pages. Has anyone been banned for this?

I was concerned about even coming close to clicking the ads on any of my sites, so I put adlogger on my sites and banned my own ip. It worked like a charm. So whenever I do check my sites after I have made changes, there is no adsense displayed. At least, that was my approach.

You guys who are "banned for life" do know you can register a company for a few hundred dollars and use that as a new adsense account if you wanted to? Its probably your own fault for getting banned but if its really such a huge loss just go do that, or if it was a dollar a day account then its not really a big deal anyway huh.

It works like this. Most of the adsense accounts out there do not make much/any money. So they don't always check those accounts. They might check them occasionally but it is not the greatest priority on their list. For adsense it seems they do a mandatory check when you get your payout. They seem to watch you more often the more money you are making.

ive clicked my own ads once or twice by accident and mailed google each time and had no problems. I think 9/10 they understand we are all human and if you report it they see you are doing the right thing.

How do they check when they get the payout? Do they just review the site? Do they check it before or after they the payout?

I have never clicked on my ads before I am the legalist (think it's right word in English, people who strictly follow laws?)

I would gladly install the software but I don't have permanent IP address. I connect with ADSL and once in 24 hours I got disconnect and reconnect :(

I have my own company and starting new company site. I am thinking about signing in again but they will still have my name as a contact person. I will contact them before doing it.

    @leandar, Thanks for hope ;)

One or two self clicks and I'd be emailing Adsense to let them know i accidently clicked on the ads and to remove them from the system.

Well, I think it would depend a lot on the kind of violation/s one breached. If its considered very serious then it may that the publisher is unlikely to get a second chance, however, if its not too serious, then they are likely to offer chance for redemption before hammering out the ban.

Well I don't think that few accidental clicks are reason for ban but I did notice Google that somebody was clicking on my ads tooooo many times few days before and what to do about it? I think that is the real reason for ban.

I heard that somebody could click on your ads and get kick you out of the program but I thought it was a myth. The same way I could click 1000 times on anybody site and get him banned? Not fair at all.

thats why DP members getting banned from their signature, webmasters shuld use adlogger for avoiding illegal clicks

you will get new adsense account with your business payee name or with your relatives payee name... start it again with adlogger.org

    Thanks
