I am currently having an influx of posters for my blog and I cant decide if having 7-9 posts added per day is over doing it? Like too much info for the general reading to catch? or maybe the reader vists a couple of times and then really likes it and stays? is there a way to make wordpress show less of a story so more stories can be shown on the first part of the page, like in the wired.com news/blog?
doesn't WP have 2 sections for each article? a long version and a short version? I don't use it too much, but I always thought the short version is what got posted to any sort of index, and the long version when you clicked through to the story..seems like that would be what you are after?
i am trying to understand your question.. emm i answer like this. if you just want only less of a full story in your post, you can add this command in between of the story : <!--more--> and then the visitor will click on this if they want to read more of the story. ____________________________ http://www.yesiloveit.com
No, Makes not sense as forums would have been penalised, since they produce a huge amount of new posts daily.
Do you mean the <! More> tag? I wouldn't post that much. It's like flooding your own blog so much where your users don't even have a chance to read it. Don't sacrifice quantity for quality.
