Problem with my phpbb install... some text is missing

I just installed phpbb on my site, but it looks like some text isn't appearing,
could you please have a look, and see if you have any ideas?

Just reup the files except for the config file. It should fix that problem.

 

you will have install tables again

 

will i have to go through the install process again?
should i reupload the install and contrib directories that they tell you to delete after install?

EDIT: Found the problem. a faulty forum/language/lang_english/lang_main.php file.
PROBLEM SOLVED

 

glad you got your problem solved, had you used a decent forum package, (SMF), you wouldn't of had those problems.

its never too late to convert.

 

why not use SMF????????? phpbb just have too many security bugs..

 

You can't exactly say it was because of non "decent forum package". It was more than likely an upload problem.

 

of course i can, i would rather send smoke signals then use phpbb.

 

phpBB is a very good script if you KNOW how to manage it. if not, then there's not a script to keep you from problems
