Possibly Google treat them as invalid clicks.

probably a combination of public service ads and invalid clicks then? they may have removed the other click too just incase it was invalid.

It could just be a click on a link ad that didn't convert on the second page

It could be that the clicks were made by people browsing through proxies and Google don't take them into account.

Aren't some $0 clicks really 1/2 a cent and won't appear until you get another 1/2 cent click? That's what I'ved noticed before with my account.

HERE IS THE ANS. TO THIS QUES.
    1. Google considers it as invalid clicks
    2. If another publisher clicks the ads i.e if some publisher opens his adsense account from his machine and if he/she clicks on the ads then it will consider it as null.
    3. May be public serving ads.

If you think something is wrong then feel free to contact google.com for it.

When you first sign up for adsense google runs ads like "katrina relief" and stuff, you don't make money off those. That could be your problem. Google also might run them if their bots can't find any real keywords from your content. Good Luck.
