I am new to the Adwords Campaigns thing and I think I have it set up right. I got 314 clicks from my campaigns through my account a commission junction and absolutely no lead. I could be wrong but I think this rather odd that I wouldn't get at least 5 leads with 314 click. Am I getting cheated? Maxx
You need to make sure you target your campaign to proper keywords, and your ad is extremely relevant. Depending on the ad, the product/program, and how targeted it is, 314 clicks could reasonably generate no leads, or it could generate 25+. What are you promoting, what's your ad text?
Conversions aren't what they used to be. Big affiliate programs have big scammers working to steal your traffic without you having a clue about it. I don't mean the affiliate program, I mean companies and individuals that hijack the traffic you send through affiliate links. Cheers
Ok, someone is paranoid here. The likelyhood that this has nothing to do with parasiteware (ebates, etc), and more with a newbie having unrealistic expectations or understanding about how to convert PPC search into CPA profit.

If this download requires credit cards to get a trial ... then this really affects leads...also every time when you start promoting something you should personally fill the all the details and check the system is working.
Some campaigns even have bad lead to click ratios, even with branded keyword bidding (no clue about Real). I've tried advertising the whole Real/Napster/Emusic/YahooMusic style sites, and they don't convert as easily as one would think.
Like somebody else indicated, I would assume that it would be kids who click on this ad. Then they probably need a credit card and since they are a kid, they do not have one. Maybe put in your ad 'credit card activation required' or something like that so you are not wasting clicks.
